Ten years as a teacher and every child's report was a copy and paste of one of 4 pre-written templates and I'd just "find and replace the name". Every child was "kind and popular with their peers". I just made it all up. Told parents what they wanted to hear. Noone ever noticed

@IOWRobert Thanks, so yes you both can re-register for self assessment and declare each share of the gain via submitting a self assessment for the 24/25 tax year, which can be done from 06/04/2025. Tom

@HMRCcustomers Barclays are terminating their plan and invest service so I need to close this account and move the funds to the joint account I hold with my wife. We will have made just over £10 k since opening it in Jan 2022. Can I pay the CGT via self-assessment?
