Bottoms happen at peak apathy and exhaustion, not peak fear. As liquidity dries up, capitulation begins. This doesn't create the bottom, it confirms that the conditions were already in place for one. Many can only see this in hindsight; Bad traders sell under these conditions. But if your thesis has not changed and the market gives you time to accumulate more, assuming you are correct, it's a missed opportunity to not do so. The thing about memecoins though, is that correctness is roughly equivalent to enough people thinking something deserves to be worth more than it currently is. It's not based on real logic, it's based on vibes and alignment. Alignment happens under pressure over a long enough timeframe. A once chaotic arrangement of nodes in a network become a perfectly ordered hive-mind lattice. The topology of this network matters, it represents its decentralization. There should be as few nodes as possible with outsized influence to improve the stability of the network. You do not want a single point of truth. In a memecoin the analogues for this are supply control and leadership. You want to minimize both or removing an "influential" node has an outsized impact on the price and expectations become skewed. In a sense, too much supply control introduces inflation to a coin, unless the people controlling the supply plan to never sell, which is absurd. So when looking for a bottomed out memecoin, you should pay attention to the community, their alignment, and the decentralization of the coin. But also to the meme itself, because without the right meme, the upside is always capped.
