@MattKohla @Kappa169 @SawyerMerritt They would be the ones paying for the upgrade since they would need to decide if the hw3 subscription is "good enough" but FSD purchasers are owed the upgrade

@SawyerMerritt On HW3, FSD 13 always headed to exit lane at .7 miles or less. Regardless of speed or traffic.

With FSD V14.3 and after, the car consistently moves into the right lanes 2.5 miles before your highway exit. As you can see below, the moment the car is under 2.5 miles from the exit, it turns on the blinker. I have been able to consistently repeat this. With previous versions of FSD, it would often wait until the last minute. No more anxiety from last second exit merging lol. (video sped up)
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

Here's my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.3.1. It feels polished vs 14.3 and it my opinion is ready for wide release. • With 14.3.1, you can now tap on the new "P" parking icon and bring up your different parking options • Mad Max mode on the highway feels slightly more conservative with top speed (favors low 80s more often), but will now get to the right lanes sooner to prepare for exiting the highway. In this first drive, Mad Max did not go above 83mph, despite no cars around me most of the time. Follow distance is also more comfortable. I like all these things. • I'm having zero brake stabbing issues on 14.3.1, whereas I had a couple on my first drive with 14.3 • Urban lane selection is better vs 14.3 • Navigation routes and occasional parking alignment still need some work, but that's not a reason to hold back wide release. It still surprises me how much quicker V14.3 reacts to things. If a car pulls out of a parking spot as you drive by, FSD hits the brakes before you even know what's going on. The 20% better reaction time is definitely noticeable.

@mrfundman Zero disengagements lol. Sure buddy. I haven't had a drive without a disengagement yet. And it's fucking awful on the highway. It may get here at some point, but it ain't close. Will see what 14.3.1 brings.

Some Tesla bears are just something else 😂 They see our cars driving themselves all day with zero disengagements They see autonomous robotaxis already running in Austin And they still think unsupervised FSD is never coming? 😂 Is it perfect? No.. Are there still edge cases & destinations to solve? Sure… but it already gets you to your destination safer than a human driver, statistically proven At some point denial isn’t analysis, it’s just cope. $TSLA

If you own a Tesla with HW4/AI4, Tesla never said you’ll ever receive Unsupervised Full Self-Driving on that vehicle. This includes cars being sold today. You’re welcome!

Tesla updates for HW3 are basically non-existent at this point. When I got my 2022 Model 3 (Intel Atom, HW3) I didn't think it would be outdated so fast. For a "computer on wheels," cell phones get better support than my $53k car. Will now wait for HW5. x.com/Tesla/status/2…

True. In the same vein though everybody was told that full self driving would be solved and available to all in like 2019 and it's still not lol so really hw4 people are still waiting too. It's a better path to solve it completely first then get it to everybody. What if they find out it actually requires hw5 to get over the final hurdle for owners' cars to be fully autonomous, but they already spent billions to upgrade hw3 people to hw4?

fiery, but mostly peaceful tweets
@teslascope This has GOT to put some pressure on @Tesla_AI to get something out for HW3. Unlike the US that has had some gimped version of FSD at least, Australia, Europe, probably others still haven't gotten *anything* for their FSD purchase.

We now have more confirmation that Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in Netherlands is for AI4 vehicles only at this time. This means that HW3 vehicles in the European Union will either have to wait for the release of V14 Lite or a future hardware upgrade to access FSD.
Xander@xanderwasserman

Confirmed: FSD (Supervised) in the Netherlands is only for HW4 at this moment. This has been the general consensus, but good to have it officially confirmed. @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi

@camstar915 @shawncarelli @Tesla_AI @elonmusk The difference is that they (we) were offered hardware upgrades also. So telling us that we can't run this stuff because of our hardware when we were promised upgrades is the annoyance.

I like Teslas. The technology is cool. They’re fun to ride in and probably even more fun to drive. Plus, Tesla is an American company. 🇺🇸 But Telsa fanbois are the most insufferable and obnoxious douche flutes on the internet.
