The Everton dilemma:
Moyes has done a great job on the field with the core players.
But probably hasn’t convinced that he’s the man to rebuild the squad
Will another year create a more stable base or hamper future growth?

@RyanSoccerAA @baker_jeremiah Status quo is fine for a bit. They do need to align on strategy moving forward, and wouldn’t be rushing to give DM a new deal yet either. But given state of squad turnaround last year, it’s not a bad first full season at all, regardless of run-in, really.

Spoke with the #NUFC Head Of Ticketing who advised 550 unsold tickets in the home end was snapped up by Barcelona fans. Surely there were safeguards in place to prevent this? Seemingly not. VG.

The amount of Barcelona fans in the home end was frustrating & extremely disappointing considering how many #NUFC fans were unable to get tickets for tonight If you had any Barca fans near you please email supporter.services@nufc.co.uk and copy in board@nufctrust.co.uk. Give as much detail as possible - seat numbers etc.

On the failed Dwight McNeil move to Crystal Palace it’s being reported that the #CPFC recruitment team were spooked by overwhelming celebratory behaviour from Everton fans online. Exec team called to meeting with Parish and deal squashed. More to follow. VG.

@Huytontoffee @lestereverton80 The Carabao cup there are no excuses. Still feel after the last few seasons of chaos on/off the pitch that stabilising the club was essential however.

@IanATP @lestereverton80 I dnt think we need to stabilize personally, I see no reason why we shouldn't have gone all out in the cups if we were happy to just stabilize in the league but he chose not to, so unless we land a European spot it's just another wasted year

@nataliebargery @RBMersey @kevjomeara1 Agree with this. Personally I've questioned him, including yesterday but I think of where we were just a year ago compared to now and its night and day. That opinion somehow means no ambition to some. There's a very real chance we qualify for Europe this season. Progressing.

@RBMersey @kevjomeara1 Personally feel like I’ve seen a lot of talk of Moyes going over the last few weeks. I think the idea that his decisions can’t be questioned if wrong too. In fairness, twitter doesn’t leave a lot of room for nuance and there lies the problem no matter what your view is.

We appreciate Moyes for what he's done right, but that doesn't mean we cannot question when he's clearly wrong or has failed to learn.

@lestereverton80 @Huytontoffee Its a good debate & when people do it properly like this its interesting. Alot seem to be wanting to run before we walk. Its not being unambitious IMO to let Moyes have 2.5 years and stabilise. We were on life support for years. Plus there's a real chance we qualify for Europe.
