Just watched as some big fella came into @waitrose formby and picked up 3 or 4 big pieces of lamb and walked straight out. Nobody even notice and didn't seem that bothered when we told the security 12.15 sunday

@Pharmacistdaz Couldn't stay quiet when my local pharmacist was telling his staff the vaccine was useless for the current strain. As an "older" person hearing that I may well have chosen not to be vaccinated.

@LNER what is it about Doncaster station? It seems totally inept when it comes to their first class lounge? (and I use first class very loosely) On the rare occasion it’s open it’s used as a home for some and don’t ever expect to get a coffee, let alone a biscuit!

@Jaydeecee2012 @LNER Absolute shambles. What’s the point of reserving seats so two people can sit together only to be told you have to sit where you can - separate - when you board the train? @LNER You need to get your act together.

Yorkshire Day! Aug 1 originally chosen to commemorate Battle of Minden (1759), where soldiers from Yorkshire regiments fought during the Seven Years War. Tradition holds that Yorkshire soldiers picked white roses from the battlefield, which became a lasting symbol.

Another busy day for our volunteers. The TPT path cleared of vegetation from the gate just after the A1 to the gate at the far end.

Middlesex v Surrey Vitality Blast at Lords. Close win for Surrey.

Nye (Bevan) at the National Theatre The emotional, and at times funny, story of one man’s vision that led to the formation of the NHS. Brilliant in a word. Michael Sheen outstanding. Lots of people wiping their eyes at the end.

Great to be involved in helping to improve the local environment 👍
