A child is hit by a cyclist jumping a red light ….. Lobby members are pushing for this action to be legal…. You MUST stop at red lights …. It’s for safety …. This poor child payed the price for this reckless behavior by this cyclist. Truly disgusting….

@AmraWatson It’s the same with the Train Operating Companies. 100s of millions just funnels through the TOCs straight into shareholder pockets. There is plenty of money in the train sector, it’s just in the wrong places.

Potential Festival of the Unexceptional winner? Perusing the new Pistonheads auctions this morning and stumbled across a 755 mile Ford Ka 1.3. That’s a car from 2006. I was never much of a fan of these but their styling has grown on me a bit. Auction finishes in 10 hours.

@autosport @RallyingUK Yaris. The puma looks silly. If I was FIA president I would decree all cars will be white, have too much power and not enough grip. Also, if the manufacturer wanted to produce ICE cars for sale, they would have to go rallying. #meforpresident

@EngineerLondon I think most of the general public will be surprised staff use bikes to get around manufacturing plants like my father did. It’s worth noting he properly spent a third of his time trying to relocate it following others “borrowing” the bike.

Fun fact- we have many 100s of km of cable tunnel under London and we use bikes to get around. All these bikes have been used for recent cable installation and jointing works and they’ve been parked near the pit bottom, in readiness for winching out tomorrow 🚴🚴🏻‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚲👨🏻‍🔧⚡️
