Turn from your defiance, for the light of Allah blinds those who reject His mercy, and the Day of Reckoning spares none who stray.

@abdul_now How does this explain when one Qur'an makes Allah say or do what a human is made to say or do in another Qur'an? An example: Qur'an 37 (As-Saffat) verse 12

It's nice to see a Trinity apologist suddenly become interested in counting. He's basically trying to say this: recitation mode 1 is "the revealed Qur'an," recitation mode 2 is "the revealed Qur'an," and recitation mode 3 is "the revealed Qur'an." They aren't identical to one another, but there is only one revealed Qur'an. Wow. The logical problem of the Qur'an. Much serious. So, let's assume @MMetaphysician has a lecture he gives on the Trinity and that he delivered it at three different universities. He adjusts some of the wording each time for the setting or the audience, or maybe for a particular angle he wants to emphasize, etc. So the wording is not identical in all three settings, but everyone still understands what it means to say "that was Jake's lecture on the Trinity." It's one lecture in the ordinary sense that refers to the same prepared material, the same subject being explained, the same person preparing and delivering it, the same case being put forward, and so on. Each audience heard Jake's lecture. The first audience didn't hear 33% of the lecture and then sit there waiting for the other two campuses to mail them the rest. They heard "the lecture" as it was delivered in that setting. Nobody in their right mind would turn that into some mysterious identity problem and say: "so delivery one is Jake's lecture, delivery two is Jake's lecture, delivery three is Jake's lecture, they are not identical to each other, and yet somehow there is one lecture." No one would genuinely believe that this exposes some metaphysical glitch in the foundations of reality. That would be a very strange reaction to something no one else is confused about. The "modes of recitation" work in a similar way. Each variation is "the Qur'an" in the sense that it's one of the authorized modes of recitation within the single reality of "divine address" Allah made to the Prophet ﷺ as a whole: the same source communicating the same core message to the same recipient. So when we call one of these authorized recitations "the Qur'an," we mean it in the same ordinary sense in which each of Jake's deliveries was "Jake's lecture on the Trinity". A particular mode of recitation doesn't stand in some spooky identity relation with "the Qur'an" any more than one of Jake's deliveries stands in a spooky identity relation with "Jake's lecture on the Trinity." Nothing confusing or metaphysically alarming here. And if by "the Qur'an" you mean the full set of authorized wordings taken together, then in that sense, no single mode of recitation contains every single variant, just as no single delivery of Jake's lecture contains every word he used across the three universities. Again, nobody finds that problematic. Nobody starts an entire discourse on the metaphysics of lecture identity because they think the lecture suddenly vanished into some kind of logical void. If we want a case that actually parallels the kind of metaphysical conundrum the Trinity brings, it would have to look more like this: Jake is the rector of Oxford, Farid is the rector of Oxford, and Abdul is the rector of Oxford, none of them are each other, and yet there is only one rector of Oxford. That's an actual logical problem. Trying to find that same glitch in the fact that a single revelation can be recited in more than one authorized way is an embarrassingly desperate reach. Do better, guys.

Imagine seeing this child and thinking: “yeah, this is hard to see, he should be dead. He’s not a blessing. Hurt children make ME uncomfortable so instead of helping them, I’ll advocate for other children to be murdered. This is the moral reaction to seeing suffering.”

Birth isn’t a victory when this is the life that follows. Abortion saves lives from this kind of suffering. Children are not blessings, they are natural responsibilities that should be deliberately planned for.

I can't believe some Christians. He is more happy that a church is turned into a gay club, than if it were to be turned into a Mosque, a place where God is worshipped. These people are so deeply brainwashed they can't see what the true problem is anymore.

@masteroogwgay Gay clubs are better than Mosques. At least we don't have terrorists coming out of these clubs.

Your conversation is made up, every Muslim knows Muhammad (SAW) didn't physically write the Quran, he couldn't even read or write. That's why the Quran is so special. An illiterate man made prophecies about the future, had knowledge about the past, that was impossible to know all the while he wouldn't be able to read anything from books. He recited what God told him, and then the people around him memorized it, and wrote it on pieces of paper, rocks and more.
Ihunanya Chi ❤️@Ihunanya_chi

Muslim: Why do you trust the Bible? Men wrote it, Jesus didn’t, so it’s unreliable. Me: Okay… then who wrote the Quran? Muslim: God. It’s the word of God. Me: Who physically wrote it? Muslim: Didn’t I say it’s the word of God? Are you blind? Me: So God literally wrote it? Muslim: You’re using a Bible Jesus didn’t write! Me: Or did God just drop the Quran from heaven? Muslim: No, it was revealed to Muhammad, he wrote it down. Unlike your Bible, humans didn’t write it… Me: Wait, Muhammad was human, right? Muslim: Yes… are you serious? Me: So a human wrote the Quran? Muslim: No! Not like your Bible… Me: Did Muhammad write the Quran or not? Muslim: He received direct revelation from Allah and wrote down what he heard. Me: Uh… so a human wrote it… oh right, he couldn’t even read or write, so someone must have helped him, and humans make mistakes… Muslim: You’re hopeless… I’m done wasting my time. Me: So… the Quran was written by humans? He blocked me. 😭😭
