You are blaming centuries of capitalism for a post-1971 monetary regime that severed wages from shelter. Yes, land matters. Yes, housing matters. Yes, workers are pressured when shelter becomes unaffordable. But why did shelter become so unaffordable relative to wages? Fiat credit. Land did not suddenly become 5x more useful. Houses did not suddenly become 5x better. What changed was the monetary system’s ability to create credit, inflate assets, suppress rates, and push purchasing power toward those closest to capital markets. Workers earn wages in depreciating currency. Asset owners borrow in fiat and watch land inflate. That is the transfer mechanism. So no, this is not merely “capitalism.” It is fiat money turning land into a speculative financial asset and forcing workers to chase a cost of living that credit inflation keeps pushing higher. Fiat is the engine. Land is the collateral. Debt is the chain.

First time experiencing this flyover Americans do before big sporting events and I have to say it goes kinda hard

@YIMBYLAND Tartary (Latin Tartania) empty unknown geographical location in northern Asia. Developed in the 1970s by Russian mathematician and propagandist Anatoly Fomenko. You are not indigenous Americans. You are not ancient tribes of the Americas. You are an embarrassment to yourselves.
