Imagine paying £10,000 a year to send your children to Oxford University and this is their lecturer. Not even joking. This is an actual lecturer at Oxford University in "Modern England".

Actually, historically, putting hot iron on a dog’s nose is an ancient practice meant to subdue a domesticated wild dog’s sense of smell, thereby limiting its ability to track meat, food, chicken eggs, and other valuable items left in the house when no one is around. The idea was that the dog would only bark and alert, rather than steal meat, food, or eggs, or even eat human feces and other waste. The only strange part is including this in a children’s book, because kids learn daily from what they watch, hear, or read. He is an archaic, ancient-in-modern man, that shouldn’t be allowed to write children’s books.

CONTROVERSIAL NURSERY SCHOOL BOOK: WE WILL REPORT AT ZONE 2 POLICE COMMAND TODAY Following the invitation and harassment of our Client, Mrs. Udoka, Mary Queen, by the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos, it pertinent to disclose that we will be going to the police command today, Thursday, 30th April, 2026. We will be reporting with our Client as law abiding citizens and out of respect for the institution of the @PoliceNG, not because we believe that Mary Queen committed any crime or that there’s a basis for the involvement of the police in this matter. However, we want to be clear that Ayengbe Ebhohimen JB, the author of the textbook, who has instigated the police against our client, will have to justify his actions. We are hoping that the officers at Zone 2 Police Command will be able to explain to us what their business is with this matter. It is also hoped that they will respect the fundamental rights of our Client and keep the interaction professional. Thank you.

@ChuksEricE And the ministry of education that approved the book needs to also tell us why they felt violence and animal cruelty are appropriate for kids.

“I’m not a social media type. The lady didn’t buy the book on social media, my number and address are on the book, she couldn’t get to me through any of those means, but she chose to go to social media to discredit my work and my book. She’s too small for me to explain to, she was not born when I started teaching, however, there's nothing wrong with my book story.” — Writer of the book reacts after a young mother raised concern about a story included in a textbook used by her son’s school.

@ChuksEricE This “I’m too big to answer to you” complex is how we landed in this mess in the first place. The president is too big to answer his citizens. The author is too big to answer his customers who literally put food in his mouth.

@ChuksEricE Too small to explain to? Like a restaurant owner telling a customer that he/she is to small to explain to, why there's a cockroach in the food he/she sells ?

@ChuksEricE This is exactly why she didn't come to you or call your number. You are not writing for children is 1950s, this is 2026. Maybe you should stop writing since you don't want to see anything wrong with what you wrote.

@olaitan_5389 Gone are the days when men were truly men 👨, treating women with care and respect. Back then, you’d greet her first, offer her a seat, and even insist she eats so she has the strength to get home safely after the rain without expecting her contact in return. Life don spoil!

She came to my shop yesterday to dodge for rain without even greeting when the rain was about to stop she wanted to be going not until the rain was still draining. Our eyes eventually caught each other but I just stood my ground not to offer her a sit just because she doesn't know how to utter a greeting.

@olaitan_5389 Why do you feel entitled to a strangers greeting ? Does it make you a better person, does it make you richer or poorer ? I never understood people's obsession with greetings especially from strangers. See you withholding good from a person becos she didnt greet you.

@ChuksEricE @jemi_roberts The issue is that electricity is not consistent. People are forced to use it immediately whenever it’s available because they don’t know when it will come back. If power supply were stable, usage would not feel so urgent or rushed. This is not a rocket science na!!

Interviewer; “People complain you didn’t give them electricity, suddenly you people will only provide 1 hour electricity for them, how does that work?” NEPA official in Bayelsa State; “The way the people use the light is the problem. Once they see light, they will turn on their freezer, washing machine, pumping machine and other electric appliances. Energy they would consume in one week, they will consume it in just one hour.”

Spiritual Causes Might Be the Reasons for His Actions — Delta Police PRO, Bright Edafe, Speaks on the Officer Who K+lled an Unarmed Suspect The Delta State Police Command has described a disturbing incident involving one of its officers as nearly impossible to explain, with spokesperson Bright Edafe suggesting that the actions may defy normal reasoning. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Edafe admitted the situation has been one of the most difficult moments of his career in public relations. “I’ll start with the issue at hand, which is a very sad issue, since my six years of Public Relations, this is my most difficult moment,” he said. The police image maker expressed frustration over the lack of a clear explanation for the officer’s conduct, describing it as deeply troubling and unprecedented. “Having an incident that cannot be explained is very difficult. There is no explanation for this. That policeman, I just don’t get what I would say was wrong with him,” Edafe stated. In a rare and striking remark, he hinted at a possible spiritual dimension, despite acknowledging that law enforcement typically avoids such conclusions. “Police cannot attribute problems to spirituality, but that may not be far from it, because that’s the only explanation that one can give to what he did,” he added.

Look at the UNN male hostel Mr. Agha Egwu Inya (UNN PRO) said it's clean. He further said that i'm demarketing my alma mater. He said students are the ones that brings the bed bugs to the school. Our students can't continue to live in this mess anymore. It must stop!
