POWER BOOST: The president moves. President Bola Tinubu has approved the payment plan to finally settle the outstanding debts under the Presidential Power Sector Financial Reforms Programme. The debt repayment plan followed the final review of the legacy debts that have beset the power sector for more than a decade. The long-standing debts accumulated between February 2015 and March 2025. Following verification, ₦3.3 trillion has been agreed as a full and final settlement, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution. Implementation has begun, with 15 power plants signing settlement agreements totalling ₦2.3 trillion. The Federal Government has already raised ₦501 billion to fund these payments. Out of the amount, N223 billion has been disbursed, with further payments underway. What this means for Nigerians: With payments reaching the power value chain, generation will be more stable. With power plants supported, electricity reliability will improve.

This is how much WEAK Iran is. They apparently shot down a low-flying US Fighter Jet on their soil. The two pilots ejected safely. Iran Police, Military and IRGC forces 2KM away couldn't capture the two pilots. America flew its rescue personnels from 1000KM away and successfully rescued both the pilots and carried the wreckage away.

@MonadNews_xyz @Letter_to_Jack @iamabdul_malik Nigeria’s Abia state has commissioned an integrated energy project designed to provide electricity to nine local governments. Geometric Power Aba Limited constructed the 141MW, scalable to 188MW, power generation and distribution facility in the state’s commercial hub of Aba.

They did the same with the power plant in Abia. Meanwhile, Ogun State has been running its own independent power plant built under Dapo Abiodun since January. We are just waiting for President Tinubu to commission it with the airport and other massive projects. Every time we talk about investments, they dismiss it. Dapo Abiodun grew Ogun State’s economy from N3 trillion to N19 trillion. They don’t find that worthy of note. We can’t defeat the agenda because our people support it.

Lagos bus driver increased fare from ₦300 to ₦1500. Passengers shouted and protested. It’s not even up to 10 minutes ride! Driver parked and faced them: Fuel is ₦1800+ per litre. I pay ₦25k daily to the bus owner. Agbero takes ₦4k. Police still collect. Silence for a second… One passenger replied: “Na we go suffer am? Salary still be ₦70k.” Driver replied angrily: “When fuel was ₦200, did your boss reduce your salary?” Nobody answered. Two passengers came down in anger. The rest still paid ₦1500. Now the real question: Are drivers exploiting the situation…Or are passengers expecting survival to be cheap? Say the truth. 👇

🚨🇮🇷 Ayatollah's Fatwa on Nuclear Weapons Expired with him Khamenei issued the famous fatwa (religious ruling) in the mid-1990s/early 2000s declaring the production, stockpiling, and use of nuclear weapons haram, or forbidden, under Islamic law. Iran has repeatedly pointed to it for decades as proof its nuclear program is purely peaceful. It was a personal, verbal ruling from him as the highest religious authority. With Khamenei dead, that specific fatwa no longer carries the same binding force, there's no living Supreme Leader to enforce or reaffirm it right now. Hardliners in the IRGC and parliament have been openly pushing to scrap or reinterpret it for over a year amid escalating threats. His death removes the main religious obstacle. On February 24th, the Russia-Ukraine war turned 4 years. Russia is a paper tiger. I would have expected a serious power to have wrapped up the war by now. More than anything else, this war shows that Russia is overhyped.

Had Putin gone berserk in Ukraine the way Netanyahu has in Palestine, you would likely hold a different opinion. Russia has been hit with a barrage of sanctions & is now effectively fighting a proxy war against NATO in Ukraine. The US you praise daily spent 20 years fighting the Taliban without success after wasting more than $1 trillion of taxpayers' money. Geopolitics is clearly not your forte.

@BabsAkins3 @ugxmxz @BusuyiOrisWorks You forget to mention all their 5 south east states produced Senate presidents . Evan Enwerem(Imo), Chuba Okadigbo (Anambra), Ayim Pius Ayim (Ebonyi), Adolphus Wabara (Abia), K Nnamani (Enugu). If we merged what they did in their regions it cannot match what Gbaja did in surulere

Vladimir Putin announced that Russia has successfully tested the Burevestnik missile. - According to Valery Gerasimov (Chief of the General Staff), the missile on 21 October flew about 14,000 km (~ 8,700 miles) and remained airborne for about 15 hours. - The missile is described as nuclear-capable and nuclear-powered, meaning it uses a nuclear reactor for propulsion. - Putin called it a “unique weapon which nobody else in the world has.” - He also stated that the “crucial testing” phase is concluded and ordered preparations for infrastructure and deployment in the Russian Armed Forces.
