Dear friends and family, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming to Ibako in Busesa yesterday to join us as we laid my mum Lovisa to her final resting place. May the good Lord bless you richly.

My mother has today morning gone to be with the Lord. May angels in heaven receive her.

In the last five years, emphasis has been put on developing infrastructure with a view to reducing the cost of production Paved (tarmac) roads.These have increased from 3,000km to 4,000km from 2011 to 2015. Ferry crossings have also increased from two to nine

Regarding energy, we completed Bujagali hydropower project and several other small ones, which increased the power generation from 300MW to over 850MW. Construction of new power dams at Karuma (600MW) and Isimba (183MW) on the River Nile was started.

I toured Nyanza Textile Industries in Jinja. The proprietors are doing a great job. In response to the #Covid19 pandemic, they are producing Personal Protective gear for medical personnel; hazmart suits, disposable caps, disposable gowns, disposable shoe covers & surgical masks.
