@ihab There is always a pattern in randomness! Just need to be able to zoom out far enough to see it. I don't know why but typically airport security has the worst customer experience 😂

I travel over 150k miles a year, across the world. Never had any problems with my backpack that always carries the exact same things - neatly packed in organizers (I'm that guy, yes). So when I just had to spend 30 min watching someone at airport security ransack my bag without telling me what they're looking for, or without actually finding something, in the process taking out a picture my twins drew (which I always carry with me) and crumbling it - yeah that's gonna piss me off! F you guys. For real for real.

@ihab @emirates After 150k miles, as Platinum, they give you a rollover towards the next year. They have now set the renewal at 120k, which i already hit. On 145k now but they still say i need 5k to qualify despite being 25k over the 120) - even so, they won't rollover anything until 150k

On the 20th @Emirates updated #Skywards. Extensions to tier validity, reduction of tier requirements and, of course, devaluation of Skywards miles value. Why is there no communication on this? A banner on the website is not sufficient. Why no email and in-app comms?

I’m a Skywards guy, through and through, and quite clued in (more than the average guy at least), pretty much in and out of the Emirates site & app regularly, and to still find out on Reddit? We deserve more transparency and communication @emirates

Imagine your bank updates your interest rate or fixed deposit interest/profit rate without warning? The regulators would be knocking before the coffee machine finishes spinning.

@emkwan @etihad @EtihadHelp Yeah i know what you mean. Happened to some folks booked in Emirates A380 Business Class and got the 777 (older model) which unfortunately wasn’t comparable. I understand if it’s one of the refurbed 777 with the new Business Class but to get the old stings.

I’ve been in the Emirates ecosystem for a while, but these devaluations pinch. Worried about the one in the 20th. I used to upgrade to business with like 20-30k miles to the UK. That’ll get you an extra legroom economy seat now 😂
