@luckyatr @AMoneroHodler He didn’t launch a shitcoin. He was contracted to launch a shitcoin. The shitcoin industry doesn’t exist without self interest first principles.

@AMoneroHodler Do you have a link? My recollection was he had an undergrad degree in math from some random university in the Midwest, and this checks out on Wiki.

@SimplyBitcoin Andreas Antonopoulos, without a doubt. I understood it from the beginning, he gave the context and made it click. Never forget.

@blockspace @Truthcoin The nice thing is that by forking you can solve also some old problems like the coinbase txs with null input or the retarget diff formula. By default. At he same time you can adopt (or not) anything that the bitcoin core developers are building. Kudos.

.@Truthcoin is hard forking Bitcoin to create eCash. So we had him on the show to ask directly: Why in the world does he want do that? "Well you know I was a bitcoin maximalist. Basically my entire life until now. But really I have some concerns. And I think that competition is, you know, the cure for for all ills. And I think we've been complacent and overconfident for a long time." And he didn't mince words over how he feels about the current state of Bitcoin development 😳 "But other people, I think, really believe there's something magical about what Bitcoin Core is doing and that they're just really great developers, even though they haven't developed anything. 99.99% of the ideas came from Satoshi. "Instead we've just done new ideas that are that suck and are terrible, such as SegWit, Taproot, and Lightning Network, which have all been a complete waste of time and have derailed the whole growth of the industry.

@PsychedelicBart Yup. Too much division, not enough unity + lots of criticising, condemning and complaining. However, we must be vigilant regarding centralisation of mining, coins and Core.

Many Bitcoin Twitter OGs have told me that it’s painful to scroll through their feed now. It’s so different than what it was 8-9 years ago.

@QuintenFrancois I cannot comprehend how all these companies are allowed to use crypto investors as a way to fundraise and not give out equity. "oops, tokens useless - thanks for funding us though, now we are going to be rich! Splitting this fortune up between the team (all 4 of us on discord)"

@TXMCtrades @carlivar @BalbaLuna Except all of our politicians all the way down to the local level are corrupt. & the ones that aren’t are such a minority that they are essentially worthless.

@carlivar @BalbaLuna I agree many jurisdictions spend inefficiently and as a result taxation feels wasted. An engaged local voter base can improve this on the margins, but not overnight and it takes a lot of work.

@natfinn @FinancialPhys @unusual_whales It costs millions to synthesize grams… even if they get the cost down to equal mining (decades) the gold would still be valued at the cost of production vs demand and demand from tech alone could be astronomical post quantum.

@FinancialPhys @unusual_whales I don't know which way to go when it's all that absurd. We can make nuclear weapons. We make diamonds. You don't think we can synthesize gold? Bretton Woods is awaiting your answer.

This is propaganda. This is a way to sew divide in our country. We had 2 choices…. Remember that. I’ll agree that everything isn’t great in society. I’m more upset with the lack of options that reflect the men and women that make this country work. We keep getting stuck

Confession: I never can make it more than 10 minutes through Preston Pysh's podcast. Too safe, too boring, too corporate. Same with Natalie Brunell I often listen to shitcoiners talk about bitcoin, because the bitcoin-only personalities tend to be too predictable and repetitive

I’m fundamentally uninterested in the stock market. I would rather just save money. Sucks that you have to figure out for yourself which money best meets the definition and speculate that you’re right though.

@Barakikiki @TXMCtrades @saylordocs Refinery’s set the price. The metal people hate to admit this but it’s true. Spot is a joke. Nobody pays spot. You sell below and buy above and you can only sell when the refiner says.

Grant Cardone reveals NOBODY would buy $10,000,000 worth of Gold at market price “I know a guy who is trying to sell 10,000 pieces of silver and he can’t get a real offer. He’s getting a 30% discount below the market. People see it spiking like this and they’re like, ‘OMG.’ But go try to sell $10M worth of gold and see what happens. You’ll only get offers 20-30% below the market, and you won’t get the money tomorrow or in five minutes. It needs to get authenticated, checked, and validated” “Bitcoin is a real thing. You can trade it in five minutes, and that’s real. Bitcoin, to me, is not only money, it’s also technology, unlike gold or silver”
