Studying the tumor ecosystem through a spatial lens

We’re excited to share our preprint on spatial organization in glioblastoma: doi.org/10.1101/2023.0…. We combine spatial transcriptomics (Visium) and proteomics (CODEX) to reveal a five-layer organization of cellular states and highlight a role of hypoxia as tissue organizer. 1/

New #PLOSBiology study from @MaayanSalton &co reveals the crucial role of splicing in TAL1 isoform regulation and its impact on hematopoiesis. These findings highlight the potential of targeting splicing to combat cancer. #CancerResearch #leukemia plos.io/3CTaslQ

Happy to share our latest work (nature.com/articles/s4158…), published in @NatureGenet, where we show that HPV is repressed in a subset of cancer cells in HPV-driven oropharyngeal cancer, making them more resistant to chemo/radiation treatment! 1/8

(1/5) Excited to share our huge efforts to understand the cellular cascade underlying Alzheimer’s disease progression and untangling disease and aging process. With @naomi_habib, Philip L. De Jager, Vilas Menon, Hyun-Sik Yang and David A. Bennett doi.org/10.1101/2023.0…

Our work is finally out in @NatureComms! Obese Alzheimer's mice may develop disease earlier due to immune exhaustion, our findings suggest. Thanks for the great team effort #MichalSchwartz @naomi_habib @GrekaLab #neuroimmunology #metabolism nature.com/articles/s4146…

🌮From molecular to tissue scale (and beyond): TACCO helps you crack your (spatial) omics data! Check out our preprint doi.org/10.1101/2022.1… and Python package github.com/simonwm/tacco Joint work with @moriel_noa @InbalDavidi @KlughammerLab #AvivRegev @mor_nitzan et al. 🧵1/n
