Remembering the innocent lives lost in the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack on this day last year. They will never be forgotten. My thoughts are also with the bereaved families as they cope with this loss. As a nation, we stand united in grief and resolve. India will never bow to any form of terror. The heinous designs of terrorists will never succeed.

India has undertaken key reforms in the Special Economic Zones (SEZ) Rules, 2006 to support the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing sector. These include reduction in minimum land requirement from 50 hectares to 10 hectares, flexibility in encumbrance norms, inclusion of free-of-cost supplies in Net Foreign Exchange calculations and permitting domestic sales in the Domestic Tariff Area on payment of applicable duties. These reforms are aimed at promoting high-value investments, fostering innovation and enhancing ease of doing business in the semiconductor ecosystem.
