@INDOCHINO @tommyony I went to Indochino San Antonio at Nordstrom today and they do not handle women. Very disappointed as I have been losing weight in anticipation of a new suit.

@INDOCHINO I have had the worst customer service experience from the shop in New Orleans. The salesperson has hung up on me. I hate that I gave them a cent. No one else should. Beware. Terrible customer service.
English

@INDOCHINO some of the worst customer service for a company that is supposed to have a custom product fit for you. Almost impossible to talk to someone via phone call. Been told twice to expect a phone call from the regional manager and have yet to receive one 3 days later.

I hate writing these but @INDOCHINO has the absolute WORST customer service at their KOP location. It's like trying to pull a toddlers loose tooth to get in touch with someone there to have them call you back after THEIR MESS UPs... **still waiting**.

@INDOCHINO @camstylez @indochino I ordered a suit in March and my wedding is coming up and I still don’t have my suit. The tailor completely messed it up when going in for final alterations. My wedding is on 5/30 and I still don’t have my suit. How is this possible?
English

An open collar is a casual tailoring style staple and @camstylez wears it nicely.

@INDOCHINO I've been calling your customer support line since 925 AM Pacific. 855-334-0788 goes straight to voicemail (with no option to actually leave a voicemail) and the message states that your business hours at 7-230 Pacific. Why are you not answering the phone?

@INDOCHINO just received two suits that were ‘made to measure’ but the sleeves are six inches too short, the waist is 3 inches too big, and the crotch is way too short. Way over priced and poor quality. So far terrible customer service to round it out. Very disappointed

Getting @dreads_way a new custom suit for Valentine’s Day was his gift. Suit arrived and we were so excited to try on the final look. Upon arrival @INDOCHINO in San Antonio it was not the same experience we had in Jacksonville. The salesman could care less that we were a $1k client and the tailor wouldn’t even listen or touch Dreads to make the proper alterations needed. I’m sure we will be taking our business elsewhere to get suits.

I should have read reviews before ordering a custom suit from @INDOCHINO quality is KMart level and the fit is wildly off. 3in zipper on a woman's pant. No refunds for their poor quality product. Just avoid this

I'm anti-Indochino. They make terrible suits.

@Quinn_Hanson22 @INDOCHINO The worst. They absolutely misrepresent what they sell. Just got the worst quality suit of my life and the fit was wildly off and unalterable. No refund for this debacle either.
English

If you run marketing campaigns, all I ask is that your company actually does what is being advertised.
Don't be like these guys
@INDOCHINO has the most persistent marketing and then totally fails to honor the discounts they offer. Terrible customer service to boot. This suit better be AMAZING.

@GhostofDeMeo I don't recommend using Indochino or any online custom tailoring service unless you're just getting dress shirts.

If you're interested in bespoke tailoring or shoemaking and based in the United States, I have some trunk show announcements that may interest you.
The first is Seiji McCarthy, an American who moved to Tokyo many years ago to study the craft of bespoke shoemaking under Hiro Yanagimachi, widely regarded as one of the best bespoke shoemakers in Japan. Seiji now works under his own banner, producing what I admiringly describe as "elevated Alden."
In the world of bespoke shoemaking, there are three major traditions: West End London, Continental (mainly Italy and Paris), and Japanese. They differ in some ways but share one commonality: most bespoke shoes are sleek and shapely. After all, when you're getting a pair of shoes made from scratch, based on your feet's measurements, it's much easier for the craftsperson to produce a pair of shoes with a lot of shape without causing discomfort (as the shoes will follow the lines of your feet without pinching them).
While I love the look of those shoes in photos, I don't always like them on my feet. I prefer a more conservative style: almond toe, square waist, and just enough shape without the shoes look like New York pizza slices. Seiji is one of the few bespoke shoemakers who does that style by default. His style is much closer to what American jazz musicians wore in the mid-century. He also once told me he takes a lot of style inspiration from Ralph Lauren, which made me realize why I like his work so much.
Seiji has two main offerings: bespoke, where he creates your last and pattern from scratch, and then a pret-a-porter program. The second means that he makes your last by adding or subtracting material from a pre-existing form, then creates the pattern off one of his many stock designs. The pret-a-porter service is priced lower than bespoke but allows you to get custom shoes. Consider him if you like Alden, but want the craft and workmanship of bespoke footwear. You can check out his stock styles on his Instagram (seijimccarthy).
The second announcement is for Whitcomb and Shaftesbury, which is widely considered one of the best values for London-based bespoke tailoring. To understand why, you have to know how bespoke is made.
There are four people involved in the construction of a bespoke garment: the cutter (who drafts and cuts your pattern), the tailor (who sews the pieces together), the finisher (who makes things like the buttonholes), and the presser (who does the ironwork). The quality of a bespoke garment is primarily determined by the first two people.
In a traditional bespoke workshop, all of this work is done on-premise or locally. Using a London-based shop means the price will be high, as London wages and rent are high. However, in the last few years, a few London-based operations have managed costs by offshoring some of their production.
Whitcomb & Shaftesbury is one such shop. They offer a traditional bespoke service, where everything is done in London. Then, a more affordable service where the cutting is done in London, but the tailoring is done in India using tailors they've trained (so the quality meets Savile Row standards). Friends of mine who have used both services tell me they can't tell the difference—the garments cut in London but made in India are just as good as the traditional bespoke service.
Ultimately, Whitcomb & Shaftesbury is responsible for delivering high-end garments, and they have many happy customers. Consider them if you're interested in British tailoring but want something at a slightly more affordable price.
Finally, my usual disclosure: I've never done a paid tweet and will never do a paid tweet. I don't get anything from making these announcements—no kickbacks, commissions, discounts, freebies, or whatever else. I make these announcements simply because I love bespoke crafts and would like to see artisans economically survive. If you have questions, please direct them to the makers.

@Drew_Green @INDOCHINO I am buying suits from you for the first time, and the fitting @Nordstrom was just fine. Tyller at customer service is a complete ass. Below is his response to me asking if the viscose lining contains something I am allergic to. Calling me an idiot is not customer service. @RetailInsider_ @MTone123

@INDOCHINO wow. You send me an email on Wednesday, ask me to get measured. Cancel my order and then deny honoring my discounts after allowing me to book an appointment outside of the window. And not a single manager available to help solve it.
