Haringey has decided to make 3 LTNS permanent. Overall, 80,000 fewer vehicles per day. Report concludes: 'LTN implementation reduces traffic volumes on internal roads. Furthermore, no evidence found of deterioration in traffic conditions or air quality in fringe areas.'💚

The pitches at the Finsbury Leisure Centre are much MORE for this community than just a space to play 5-a-side. Among many other things, this is the space where hundreds of children go every week to play, do homework, be free, and learn. The photo here, is what you often see e-v-e-r-y day. It's terrible to think that if #IslingtonCouncillors have their way, these pitches will be demolished next year. The timeline for the Barnsbury &Laycock Liveable Neighbourhood on the @IslingtonBC website has changed. The consultation phase has been pushed back to 2025. No indication of when in 2025 but we hope it won't be too far off!
