I don’t know anything important. I pray daily to the insurance gods for rate decreases.

Trying to convince my wife to sell our house
We'd walk away with $900,000 after fees
Put all of it into 30-year government bonds
Collect $45,900 a year for 30,000
Use that money to pay rent
Never mow a lawn or fix a leaky roof again
And get our $900,000 back in 30 years

There are people reading this right now that think $3,000 is low property taxes
Aaron M. Renn 🇺🇸@aaron_renn
Got our property tax bill today. It's less than $3000 for the entire year. Carmel, Indiana is an insanely good deal.

@SenWarren You can literally file your own taxes for free right now

Wouldn't it be nice if you could say goodbye to TurboTax and file your taxes for free, online, and directly with the IRS?
I have a bill to get that done.

Nearly 40% of Americans said that they have less than $500 in cash savings, per FOX 5

@PeterSchiff The income is already taxed.. why also tax ownership if it’s owned as a rental vs primary/secondary
English

@unusual_whales Who are they polling for this?? Skipping meals bro?

@iOccupyNigeria @Jeremybtc That’s the whole point of insurance. You hope you don’t need it but if you do.. someone get a big tax free payout. Might as well get your money back.
English

@InsuranceBozo @Jeremybtc Return of premium is a scam. You overpay to get your money back when that money could've been invested in the market and given you much larger returns.

A whole life insurance policy for a healthy 30 year old costs $440 a month.
A term life policy with the exact same $500,000 coverage costs $21 a month.
That's a $419 difference every month.
If you bought the term policy and invested that $419 difference into an S&P 500 index fund from age 30 to 65, you'd have over $1.6 million sitting in your account.
And your family is still fully covered the entire time.
Whole life insurance is a scam.
