Have recommended #Tatamotors when it was around 150 and Tata motors DVR around 50 Rs , preferring DVR over Tata motors at that time while setting up initial target of 1000 Rs for Tata motors and disproportionate rise in DVR , my long term tgt was Rs 5000 for Tata Motors and that is still the target . When I read the article this morning, the disclaimer was there. I didn't write it and so I don't know about the veracity of your allegation. However in EITHER CASE, the disclaimer lends no support to your 'pump and dump' insinuation. You have given NO PROOF that Mint owned the stock, wrote about it and then dumped it. This campaign seems to be a direct result of our calls for #finfluencer regulation.

After an article on @livemint, a Smallcap firm called Goyal Aluminiums Ltd dipped by 73.5%. Interestingly: - The article had NO MENTION of an author. - Had one sided positive coverage. - No disclaimer was given. (Have linked the entire article: please read it carefully) Would be very interested to know: why traditional media should NOT be regulated by SEBI while publishing such articles. And, why the Author's credentials should NOT be clearly displayed? This is just one of the many examples I can give you. Anyone who write/speaks about stock markets, should display their verified personal portfolio (I have done mine, check my previous tweets) As an audience, you should ask for more transparency, not more regulations (so far, no one is even talking about regulating the finance media). The rules should apply equally to all.
