اعتصاب دانشجویان شریف در اعتراض به ادامه بازداشت پرنیان خدابخشی جمعی از دانشجویان دانشگاه صنعتی شریف تهران اعلام کردند در اعتراض به تداوم بازداشت #پرنیان_خدابخشی، از روز شنبه ۵ اردیبهشت در کلاس‌های درس شرکت نخواهند کرد. پرنیان خدابخشی، دانشجوی ۲۰ ساله مهندسی مواد، از ۸ اسفند سال گذشته به دلیل برافراشتن پرچم شیروخورشیدنشان در محوطه دانشگاه بازداشت شده و همچنان در زندان قرچک در شرایطی نامناسب نگهداری می‌شود. به گفته منابع مطلع، با وجود پیگیری‌های مستمر خانواده، قاضی پرونده با آزادی موقت او با وثیقه مخالفت کرده است.

Two weeks ago, Trump announced a ceasefire widely understood to be tied to reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Iran said it would not reopen the strait while Hezbollah was still under fire. Trump then helped secure a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, but even after that, the strait remained closed. Washington responded with a blockade on Iran; If Iran denies others free passage, it cannot expect freedom of passage for its own ships. Now Tehran says it will not negotiate because of the blockade. This is the operating logic of the Islamic Republic: create the crisis, deny responsibility, then protest the consequences.

Blockading Iranian ports is an act of war and thus a violation of the ceasefire. Striking a commercial vessel and taking its crew hostage is an even greater violation. Iran knows how to neutralize restrictions, how to defend its interests, and how to resist bullying.
