When I was Muslim, I compared Muhammad’s last words to Jesus’ last words. Not just the facts, but the spirit behind them. And bro, the difference is staggering. It shook my devout Muslim faith. According to Sahih al-Bukhari, Muhammad’s final words included: “May Allah curse the Jews and the Christians. They made the graves of their prophets into places of worship.” Those are words associated with his final moments. No forgiveness. No reconciliation. No peace. Now compare that to Jesus. Beaten, betrayed, tortured, hanging on a cross with nails through His wrists, Jesus says: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And then: “It is finished.” One dies speaking curses. The other dies extending forgiveness. One ends by drawing lines and reinforcing division. The other tears the veil and reconciles heaven and earth. And whether people like it or not, final words reveal something deeply personal about the heart. That contrast shook me. Because one man’s final moments reinforced separation, while the other’s changed eternity through mercy, sacrifice, and love. Please sit with that honestly.

I have had a wonderful career at @concordia and at @jmsbconcordia. I will forever be grateful for the complete freedom that I was granted to pursue any research stream and any professional endeavour that I desired. I did face some difficulties over the past few years stemming from the unfolding realities in Montreal but I walk away with some sadness (I'm sentimental) but excited about the next exciting chapter at the @umdeclaration at @olemiss.

This panelist on The Social believes Dunkin’ Donuts will fail in Canada simply because it’s an American company, while the same show has spoken positively about Costco several times over the years — and often this year as well. She’s not even a US citizen. There’s nothing “duel“ about it. She said she was naturalized under her father when she was a minor. He was never naturalized. When he was eligible, she wasn’t a minor. What needs to happen is that congress needs to pass a bill reversing the law that makes citizenship status private. It just protects criminal aliens like Omar and 100s of others serving in elected office-illegally.

Ilhan Omar is still a citizen of Somalia, and she has never given up her citizenship. Unbelievable. My new bill would make people like @IlhanMN give up their dual citizenship if they want to serve in Congress. You’re either American or Somali. It’s just that simple. We don’t want foreigners serving in Congress any longer. PERIOD.

@BradMBradford When a person puts on a uniform they represent the Police Department. So when the hierarchy allowed 2 uniformed Muslim officers to post videos about Islam, they invited this division within the ranks.

Antisemitism anywhere is unacceptable. I welcome the Toronto Police Services Board’s call for an independent investigation into concerns of antisemitism within the Toronto Police Service. Every Torontonian deserves to know that when they call for help, they will be treated with professionalism. And every member of our police service deserves to know they can serve our city in an environment of dignity, trust and respect.

@Sluggo013 @TaylorCtaylor67 You don't need to be in Brampton. I'm in South Etobicoke. We are not a Muslim neighbourhood and we even have halal burger places: Gladiator and Burger Legend.

In Brampton every fast food place that specializes in chicken uses halal chicken and hires temporary workers from India except one Chick Fil A. Chick Fil A is a Christian company that doesn’t use halal meat, closes on Sundays and hires Canadians of all races and religions.
