Nets didn’t draft ANYONE in 2024. They didn’t bother to acquire a second round pick where AJay Mitchell was taken. Now the fanbase hoping they TRADE for him!

After drafting 4 guards in the 2025 NBA Draft - reports are swirling that if the Brooklyn Nets fail to move up in the 2026 draft; they could potentially move back in the draft to acquire additional assets and young players. Names like Nate Ament, Karim Lopez, Aday Mara, Hannes Steinbach & Yaxel Lindbeborg could be viewed as better fits to add to the current Nets roster.

* Trading Jarret Allen (but I understood)
* Interviewing Tyronn and hiring Steve Nash (not over that one)
* Not trading Kyrie as soon as he refused the vax
* Extending jacque Vaughn (I kind of got that though - stability)
Otherwise he's been very good

@NetsProphet Hannes Steinbach will be good - I'd be fine with a trade back into the first round (MPJ plus for a late lotto/teens pick) for him - but I would not trade down from 6 because Nolan Traore is on the roster - OKC has SGA/Ajay/Topic coming/Wallace/Williams and they're OK

Across 10 years he's also made some very good moves. Just not nearly enough to have the job for this long. I don't think he should be fired because he's the worst gm in the NBA. He's not. He should be fired because he's not very good.

@Netswamp I think that's fair but also fair to say it's prob just time to change the basketball operations department from the top down - 10 yrs of bad circumstances and bad results should = change-teams rarely get better when all mgmt stays in place for this long with this lack of results
