“Desperate people do desperate things” Ordinarily their coalition should bring hope and excitement, but because they have no clear vision and alternative for Nigeria, nobody reckons with them. You would think with @PeterObi bringing in fake news CSO, fake TV anchors, fake movement of irrational and double standards Obidient they would create momentum, but anything fake hardly last. They have now resorted to blackmailing Nigeria and the Nigerian people in the eyes of the international community; anticipating hard and harsh treatment that would affect the lives and economy of ordinary Nigerians, so that Nigerians would be intimidated into voting them; that’s political banditry. But wait, can a people who invade a political party in a gestapo manner, take over the party structures by force and abduction the party, actually build opposition?

I said this 6 months ago and if you want to know why ADC is more confused than the mad man that used to advise Gregory, here are the facts; 1. A party where everybody wants to be president (selfish) cannot build a virile opposition 2. A party built on hostile take-over cannot survive the storm 3. A party where the members have double standards that they apply to people cannot see road 4. A party where the presidential aspirants have changed political parties like chameleon cannot have ideology 5. A party where their leaders see Nigerians as a means to an end cannot coordinate 6. A party where their leaders’s desperation is a do or die affair cannot govern Nigerians Finally, have you not noticed that they are more confused now than they were when their journey started? I said it before, “give them six months and they would come crashing”; it is evident before our very eyes. Say no to association of desperate congregation (ADC)

The opposition members under the umbrella of ADC know quite well that they are not ready for the election since all of them want to be president; they have now resorted to importing foreign interference into our elections by alleging one party state, as if the foreign governments don’t have their embassies and commissions here in Nigeria to know the lack of preparedness of the ADC.. Only him had used deep poverty to cure problems Fuel queues — gone. because he took fuel drive from 160 to 1400 in just 3 years. Let’s see if your father can afford it let alone queue for it ASUU strikes — gone. He captured the agency, dissolved all bodies, took away educational fundings. Within 3 years, most schools had more than 300% increase in school fees. Poor man dropping from school. Yet no one could speak for them because he destroyed all the agencies that can speak before hitting them with pain State bankruptcies — Worsening. We just kept borrowing more and more WITH NO RESULT. Before, if govt borrows, they’ll try to do something for citizens before stealing the rest. This one steals with impunity. Award 3.3 trillion to power (the same) project 3 times in 3 years with nothing better. Electricity — people now pay more than 300% increase for the same uselessness. An average Nigeria can’t even guarantee a 12 hour electricity in a day. With all the money said to have been pumped in this sector. This is a big shame. Insecurity — Worse than ever before. Now police don’t even interfere in kidnapping again. They just ask you to pay ransom. Private sector exits — Worsened. Almost all companies had exited Nigeria NGX decline — Naira had gone all time low. He took it from about 400 to 1400. More than 300% decrease Food inflation — so bad than a Tiber of yam has to be cut in slices for Nigerians to be able to afford it. I didn’t even know how much of a failure this man is until I realized you didn’t even have anything good he did to campaign. This is the Worst President ever in the history of Nigeria. We all should be angry and ensure he doesn’t see that sit again
Osas@osazenoo

Only he has shown the will to tackle problems that lingered for decades and the results are beginning to speak. Fuel queues — gone. ASUU strikes — gone. State bankruptcies — easing. Subsidy wastage — eliminated. Electricity — being decentralized. Insecurity — state policing in motion. Private sector exits — reversing. NGX decline — stabilizing. Crude oil output — improving. Food inflation — trending downward. It’s not just promises anymore; it’s visible shifts across critical sectors.

When I made this tweet, a lot of people asked, “who are you to say this?” What many of you don’t know is that there is a story behind it. I never met Umma El-Rufai personally. I didn’t know her beyond what I heard. But I shed tears when I heard she passed, because I can only imagine what Mallam Nasir El-Rufai must have been going through. Anyone who has listened to him speak about his mother knows how close they were, and how much he loves her. So, when he came back to Nigeria, and was detained by the ICPC she wasn’t even aware of what was happening, there was a time when she called at my presence worried because she couldn’t reach him. She was told he was “busy,” that it was work, and that was it. Each time he was visited, he would always ask about her. I was also present the day the doctor called to say her condition had worsened and that she would be placed on life support. I watched people stand there, debating whether or not to tell him. And the painful part? The same people behind his detention, are people who once call themselves his friends, people who even claim his mother as their own. What is even crazy is they knew all of this every step of the way. They knew her condition, and they also know that everything they are accusing him of is bullshit, nothing but a politically motivated witch hung. Yet, they did nothing, they denied of the chance to say good bye and farewell. So when I said I will never forgive, it came from a place of deep anger. It came from witnessing, in real time, what I can only describe as deep cruelty, highest form of betrayal that I am not sure if judas himself did that much disguised as politics. It made me ask myself, what kind of life is this? How can people be this desperate and cruel? Why?
Mal. Imran U. Wakili (PULLO) 👑@IU_Wakilii

I, Imran U. Wakili, will never forgive this betrayal even if Mallam Nasir El-Rufai forgives.

Two years later: After the Plateau "no light" airport stopover disaster, President Tinubu’s cover up is to re-approve the same N3.3 trillion that he approved in May 2024. Is it that he forgot? Or is this propaganda taken too far? This affliction too shall pass.

I think by now, it is evidently clear to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that he should never have picked a fight with Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. It was never his fight from the onset, but certain individuals with zero credibility lured him into it, and today, they have left him hanging out to dry, unable to even defend him before the Northerners. One thing I know for certain is that if people like Mallam were working with Tinubu, many of the blunders we have seen would never have happened. He would have been warned, he would have been told the truth about the consequences. But those surrounding the President, people with little credibility, cannot tell him the hard truths that someone like Mallam Nasir El-Rufai would. They are more concerned about protecting their positions than telling the President what he needs to hear. But what has happened has happened. Mallam went back to the drawing board, assembled a team, and cooked this coalition, and now it is ready and Tinubu is obviously scared. Continuing this fight will only become more catastrophic for the President. In fact, it is already elevating Mallam Nasir El-Rufai even further. Over the past month, we have seen people who were once staunch critics of his become some of his strongest defenders. This situation is pushing people to learn more about him, to research him, to understand him better. And one thing is certain, the more people objectively look into Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the more they will appreciate what millions of us already know. The President should stop using federal institutions to fight a battle that was never his to begin with. It is time to cut his losses, step back, and let the man go. These allegations of $2000 and $3000 are unconvincing, and deep down, the President knows it. If Tinubu takes a moment to reflect, he will realize that since the arrest of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, there has been no peace on this matter, and there will be no rest until justice is seen to be done. He should release him and focus on his re-election that already have a K-Leg, because if this continues, the consequences may be far greater than what he is already facing. Mallam is more than just a political figure to many of us, he is an idol, and our numbers have only grown stronger.

@BolajiADC Hi Bolaji, the man your bosses stole the ADC from is ahead of you. Nafiu Gombe has already gone global to report the hijacking of his party by those he calls "external political actors" and "power mongers". Read his letter to the US Embassy in Nigeria.

We must tell ourselves the bitter truth, there is a reason we are where we are today. The reluctance of the opposition leaders has been very clear over time. And that same reluctance is what has given PBAT the room to believe he can do whatever he wants. What is happening now didn’t happen in one day, this confidence and arrogance was built over, and it is because he was allowed to get away with a lot before now. I remember when a sitting governor was suspended for months. That alone should have shaken the entire opposition and the country at large. But what happened? A press conference was held, statements were made, and that was all. No real consequences, nothing changed, until the governor had to succumb and beg for his seat back. And that moment passed. We have seen several then opposition governors at the time, made claims that federal funds were being released only to governors in the ruling party, while others were sidelined. That is not a small allegation in any democracy. But again, the opposition kept quiet, and we all accepted it and moved on like it was nothing. Another moment passed. We were told about local government autonomy, something Nigerians had been waiting for. It sounded like progress. But till today, local governments still do not receive their money directly. And once again, we all accepted it and moved on. Then came the arrests. Key opposition figures were picked up, pressured, and in some cases detained with out charge or any explanation. Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was kept for more than 30 days without any charge and without any clear explanation. That should have triggered a serious and sustained reaction. But what did we see? Silence again, only Mallam and social media boys or at best, weak and wattery outrage. And another moment passed. If you look at all these events carefully, you will see that this is not about one incident. It is a pattern. A pattern where something serious happens, the opposition reacts briefly, and then everything dies down without accountability. That pattern is the reason there is no regard for the opposition today. That pattern is why Tinubu continues to push boundaries and act without fear. Because from the beginning, he tested the system, and nothing happened, If he did not get away with so much, I promise you, he would not dare do what he is doing now. And That's why I encourage opposition figures and other patriotic politicians who are not happy with the conduct of the federal government to remain in the ADC and stand their ground. This is not the time to retreat or compromise, it is the time to confront these injustices directly. Tinubu must not be allowed to think he is more powerful than Nigeria and Nigerians. Not anymore. And if that does not change, then we should not be surprised at what comes next.
