A serious look at Irish fruit veg supply vulnerabilities. We grow far less than we could, import basics like onions & potatoes, are reliant on countries like Spain who are already impacted by #ClimateChange We need to expand horticulture, #GIY rte.ie/brainstorm/202…

Interesting read. Worth noting that there's been a 73% reduction since 1961 & a 14% reduction since 2010 of vegetable growing in Ireland, leading to a vulnerable food security position. rte.ie/brainstorm/202…

Very happy to announce I’ve been awarded an @IrishResearch Postgrad Scholarship to pursue my PhD. I’m excited to begin work examining food policy development in Ireland in the context of a healthy and sustainable food system.
