*In 1951 a politician bought a horse for a race at £50,000. The seller agreed to deliver the horse the next day.* In the morning of the next day, he drove up and said: "Sorry son, but I have some bad news. The horse is dead." The politician replied: "Well, just give me my money back then." The seller said: "Can’t do that. I’ve already spent it." The politician said: "OK, then, just bring me the dead horse." The farmer asked: "What are you going to do with it?" The politician said: "I’m going to raffle it off to the people as a speed horse that can win a race" The seller responded: "You can’t raffle a dead horse." Politician replied: "Sure, I can. Just watch me. You don't know the people, l will post wonderful pictures of a horse, I just won’t tell anybody it's dead. I will market it with propaganda and present it as capable of chasing criminals away" A month later, the seller met up with the politician and asked: "What happened with that dead horse?" Politician replied: "I raffled it off. I sold 1million tickets at £2 each and made a profit of £2m. *The seller was dazed and asked: "Didn’t anyone complain?"* *Politician said: "Just the guy who won. I told him the horse died on our way to deliver. So, I gave him back his £2 with apology. I told him l have refunded everyone. He consoled me and told me to keep it up that I am a good man.’ That, after all, I have suffered (a lot of loss). He prayed for me and called on God to bless me. Telling me that the country needs honest people like me to come and run for office".* LESSON *Dem don dey arrange demselves. The political raffle ticket will soon be back to sell to people another dead horse in 2027* I trust say our mumu don beleful us. Or else, sorry go be our name. Mumu too much.

@fkeyamo Mr. Keyamo, e go shock all of una . If you like let all the governor's in Nig. go to APC it's not a guarantee of returning PBAT in 2027. Be assured that most of them that have moved may not return themselves. This it's even shameful of you putting this out.

Finally, the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle in the S/South has moved into place! Officially, five of the six States of the South/South are now in APC, whilst the sixth has a leader and Minister in active, open support of Mr. President. From a position of absolute weakness in 2015, 2019 and 2023 to a position of absolute advantage and strength ahead of 2027! Welcome home, Governor Duoye Diri!

With Donald Trump threatening military action against Nigeria over the so-called fabricated “Christian genocide,” one must ask, who exactly are they coming to fight? The Nigerians themselves, of whom Christians make up over 45 percent of the population? The Muslims, who have been the primary victims of terrorism and banditry for the past two decades? The brave Nigerian military personnel risking their lives daily to protect every citizen? Or perhaps the terrorist groups whose funding and logistical support have long been linked to channels associated with USAID? These are the questions that every well meaning Nigerian must ask! “At some point we might have to consider the fact that Trump might be mentally unstable”.

Dear Oseni Rufai, This is another reason I said you need to get proper journalism training. Trained journalists will know that: 1. Payments to govt are not made in cash. 2. Payments to govt are not paid directly into bank accounts. 3. Payments to govt are paid through REMITA. 4. You don't just pay through REMITA, it is after you must have been given all necessary info, including CODE. 5. After payment, RECEIPT is generated stating; a. Amount paid b. Time and date of payment c. Purpose of payment d. Govt agency to which payment is made 6. With this REMITA RECEIPT, you go to the Govt Agency to collect TREASURY RECEIPT. 7. If you make payments through REMITA, it is your duty to go to the relevant Govt Agency to get Treasury Receipt, the receipt won't be brought to you at home. Note that: 1. You already have your evidence of payment - the REMITA RECEIPT 2. Even if you are yet to be issued a Treasury Receipt, that does not invalidate your payment. Now; if a trained journalist received this type of complaint, what he will do is simple. 1. Ask for evidence of payment - Remita Receipt. 2. Do his own discreet investigation 3. Privately reach out to those concerned for clarifications On the legality of non-payment of GROUND RENT as part of the grounds for revocation of Statutory Righf of Occupancy, Section 28, Subsections (a) and (b) of the Land Use Act provides that 'The Government may revoke a Statutory Right of Occupancy on the ground of; (a) a breach of any of the provisions which a certificate of occupancy is by Section 10 deemed to contain; and (b) a breach of any term contained in the Certificate of Occupancy." Now, did Oseni Rufai find out whether or not Payment of Ground Rent is part of the conditions listed in the Certificate of Occupancy? Of course he won't. This is because ANIMAL ANATOMIST Oseni Rufai, is only out to GRANDSTAND and convince himself that he is actually a human being, he must jump out of his bed at 4am to post anything on Social Media, instead of waiting to get to the Arise News, to do his usual I PUT IT TO YOU. Anyways, Oseni Rufai, let your complainant(s) contact me on 08034671763. Finally, like I have advised you, go and get married and start living a responsible life. If you do, inside this kind of cold weather, you won't be on Social Media at 4am, advertising your mediocrity when you should be cuddling your wife. Your existence won't also be about masturbating on anything Wike. After all he (Wike) is not the reason you don't have a life at 45! Also, as an EX-CONVICT, let me remind you that you lack moral rights to speak in the congregation of law-abiding Nigerians. Your conviction is just three years, you need 7 years more to be able to hold public office. My name is still Lere Olayinka, the grandson of Tenibiaje Ganmu Gánmú ò seé lu ojú ìbẹ̀mbẹ́... I used to live with the Irúnmalès of Òkè Àgbọnà in Okemesi Ekiti, but have now moved to the topmost part of Zuma Rock, while still providing all necessary Nkan Ètùtù for the Òkè Àgbọnà Irúnmalès. Peter Obi, the liar, is exposed again You're neither a Mandela nor a Lincoln or a Kennedy. You sound as if you have never held an elected office before. You sought re-election as Anambra Governor in 2010, and narrowly won courtesy of a divided opposition. Why didn't you walk away after only one term in office? Meanwhile after serving two terms, did Anambra look like a state that has been transformed? If you couldn't transform a small Anambra after 8 years, is there a guarantee that you'll do anything significant under 4 years as President of a complex and complicated Nigeria? You talk about keeping your promises or your vow being your bond, but you and I know that's not true. You have broken previous promises and usually lie with reckless abandon, sometimes needlessly. For example, you said you won't leave APGA but you left (the reason for your exit is immaterial because if we're to make allowance for excuses, you'll definitely have an excuse to break your one-term vow). You talk about trust, but how do you expect people to trust someone who can't keep a simple promise not to leave a political party?
Michael Chibuzo®@chibuzo_mikel

Dear @PeterObi I have read your epistle on your desperate one-term vow and I have the following words for you: 1. The US presidents Abraham Lincoln and JF Kennedy that you cited as examples did not choose to serve one term in office. Lincoln was actually in his second term in office when he was assassinated while Kennedy was assassinated in his first term and had planned to seek re-election. 2. Nelson Mandela indeed served for one term, however that's because of a number of reasons. First, he was already 75 years of age when he first became president. By the time he concluded his first term in office in June 14th 1999 he was 80 years already and turned 81 the next month. So, he was already old and exhausted from 27 years of incarceration. 3. You're neither a Mandela nor a Lincoln or a Kennedy. 4. 5. I laugh when I saw where you said, "I maintain without equivocation: if elected, I will not spend a DAY LONGER than four years in office." It reminded me of your vow in one of your campaign talks that fuel subsidy WILL NOT LAST A DAY LONGER if you become president. You practically vowed to remove fuel subsidy on day 1. After President Bola Tinubu removed fuel subsidy, you backtracked and lied that you promised to remove fuel subsidy gradually. If you can blatantly lie over such a promise that was documented on video, how on earth do you think people will believe your one-term promise. 6. Also, I wonder if you really understand the complexity of the problems you're going to tackle across many sectors in Nigeria or have any idea of the amount of funds you need to "tackle insecurity; prioritise education, healthcare and poverty alleviation of a more than 220 million nation; catalyse small businesses (I wonder how many you catalysed in Anambra), transform agriculture (I'm struggling to recall anything significant you did in agriculture in small Anambra) across Nigeria not just in your favourite North etc. To me, it appears you have actually not taken out time to evaluate the revenue needs to transform the country or the fact that what happens at the states and LGAs are also important in the areas of education, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing etc. 7. Finally, I also noticed that infrastructure is not your thing and that's probably why you didn't even mention it at all. I really want to know how you intend to significantly improve the infrastructure landscape across Nigeria (roads/bridges, rail, power, housing) under four years considering the chronic infrastructural deficit we have and the grossly inadequate public revenue to tackle these. I have not even talked about length of procurement process for big projects (remember EIA et al). It's obvious you're just so desperate to become President and therefore you are willing to promise anything including a one-term vow. If not, why didn't you promise to do one-term during the 2023 presidential election campaigns? Why 2027? What changed?

If @realDonaldTrump believes that by imposing 15% tariffs on Nigerian goods that we shall kneel before him, crawl on our bellies, bow and tremble, wag our tails and proclaim "YES SIR MASSER SIR" like those 5 servile and imbecilic African Uncle Tom's that he invited to the @WhiteHouse and openly insulted to their faces the other day then he is sadly mistaken. Nigerians are made of stronger stuff than that. We are the pride and strength of Africa and the hope of the black race: we bow to no nation and to no man. From his words as reported you know that he lied that senior government officials of @officialABAT administration promised him 3 ministerial slots to not surrender his party to the coalition for a wild goose chase. FACTS 1. No government official(s) of whatever rank in our government can promise or grant ministerial slots but Mr President. 2. If a promise of ministerial slots would be made to Mr Nwosu, it would be made by the president and to him directly 3. The same courage he mustered saying he was promised slots by the officials could have been used in mentioning their names and positions in this government They are painfully graduating to association of jesters or Association of Disorganised Characters

ADC Press Statement For Immediate Release July 13, 2025 Welcome Back, Mr. President – But Where Have You Been? The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has challenged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to tell Nigerians where he has been for five days since the end of the BRICS Summit in Brazil. The President, who returned in the early hours of Sunday, had been missing from public view since the end of the Summit in Brazil without any official explanation as to his whereabouts. The full statement read: The African Democratic Congress (ADC) extends a weary welcome to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finally returning to the country five days after the end of the 2025 BRICS Summit which held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Since the summit ended on Monday, July 7th, all the other world leaders who were in attendance returned home, briefed their citizens, and got back to work. But our President? He only reappeared in Abuja in the early hours of Sunday, July 13—without a word, without a briefing, or any explanation as to why his return to the country had been delayed. A whole five days is significant in the life of a country, especially a country like ours battling with several existential challenges of insecurity and a tottering economy that has made life increasingly difficult for the majority of Nigerians. The President was not on holidays, he was on official duty. We therefore cannot wish those five days away and we demand a clear explanation for them. The ADC also notes with concern that this disdain for accountability around the President’s overseas trip has become a distinct hallmark of this administration. In January 2024, a so-called “private visit” to France turned into a two-week disappearance. No photos, and no statements from our President. In April 2024, President Tinubu travelled to the Netherlands, and then to Riyadh, for the World Economic Forum. The summit ended on April 29th, 2024, but there was not a word from him until May 8th, 2024. Those were nine days of unexplained vacuum. In August 2024, President Tinubu flew to China via Dubai. After his engagements in Beijing, he vanished from public view on September 5th, and mysteriously surfaced in London on September 11th. He was missing for six days—no explanations, no letter transmitted to the National Assembly, just silence. And in the same August 2024, the President also embarked on yet another “brief work stay” in Paris. He remained incommunicado for three days, then quietly returned, as if the nation does not deserve to know. Each episode of Mr. President’s mysterious disappearances has sparked all manners of speculations and rumours that are not only unhealthy to the polity, but also endangers Nigeria’s perception in the eyes of the world. We urge Nigerians to take note. A president that disappears without explanation cannot be trusted to be present to solve the crises that we face. A President that vanishes without accountability has no moral authority to demand sacrifice from citizens. Most importantly, a ruling party that makes excuses for these serial disappearances has nothing but contempt for the people it governs and has no regard for accountability. Signed: Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi Interim National Publicity Secretary African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Spokesman of the Coalition.

You're Shameless, Your Aides Left Over Non-payment Of Salary, Immoral Acts, Wike's Aide Knocks Ireti Kingibe The Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ireti Kingibe, has been told to stop being shameless, stop immoral acts and pay attention to the welfare of her legislative aides, many of whom have left as a result of non-payment of their salary and entitlements for as much as six months. Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in a statement on Tuesday, said the FCT Minister will not be available to be used as a launchpad for Senator Ireti Kingibe's dying political career. Ireti Kingibe had said on a television program that the FCT Minister was out of touch with the needs of the people and that "it’s not just about development, Wike's conduct is fuelling resentment among the FCT people." In his reaction, the FCT Minister's Spokesperson said it was funny that Senator Ireti Kingibe, who treats her personal aides like slaves and has refused to pay them their wages is the one talking about someone treating others with disregard. Olayinka said; "As at today, we know how many of Senator Ireti Kingibe's aides that have resigned owing to non-payment of their salary and immoral acts. "We know one of her aides, who resigned because she allegedly had an immoral relationship with her boyfriend. We also know what strained her relationship with her third husband, Ambassador Gana Kingibe, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). But we will keep our gunpowder dry for now. "However, Senator Ireti Kingibe should tell the people of FCT what she did with the an 'envelop of N3 billion' that was awarded her last year and how many contracts for constituency projects she has sold for between 15 and 20 percent of the contract value. "As for the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, he will not be distracted by someone like Senator Ireti Kingibe, who has no other credible identity to present herself with, except the name of someone she is no longer married to. "The Minister will continue to bring infrastructural developments to both the FCT city center and satellite towns. Just last week Friday, commissioning of 16 projects to commemorate the second year of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration was concluded, and by this time next year, more projects would have been commissioned."
