I’m a Catholic who believes Jesus offers Salvation for all true believers. I won’t disparage my brothers and sisters in Christ if any denomination bc it’s the opposite of what He commanded me to do. I’m not a judging authority. I know what I believe and why I believe it. I leave the salvation of others and knowledge of their heart up to Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Always fascinated how people in the middle ages for hundreds of years just lived amongst the ever decrepitating Roman ruins. It was just a part of daily life for them.

Saw project Hail Mary last night. It was definitely a good movie. You’ll leave there happy. But I just can’t get over the idea that an alien race that has the intelligence and mobility of a dog was able to create a ship capable of interstellar travel. The creature has no face, and no hands. Humans truly are created in the image and likeness of God. The idea that life evolved on another planet in a different image is pretty retarded. Fun movie, but be prepared to suspend all rational thinking to enjoy it.

You need to watch Kenneth Clark’s 1969 docuseries, Civilisation. He covers the fall of Rome up to the mid 20th century. It’s 13 parts and 11 hours long, but it’s incredible.

We should revive traditional clothing. So many cultures have really cool traditions and manufacturing techniques shaped by local materials and climate. Everything has become so homogenized now that many people don’t even know how their ancestors dressed.
