This is my convo with Sam lol.. thanks for sharing hahah. Literally just dug his own grave like you say… Worst kind of scum and yet he still thinks highly of himself. The only good thing he did is prove that training on a decentralised basis works (which was only made possible by harnessing the power of Bittensor not covenant) and literaly gave us the opportunity to evolve as a network by showing everybody where our weakness was. Bittensor isn’t perfect but it sure as shit is better than 95% of other projects out there. Decentralisation is something you work towards, improve upon, not something you pull the plug on while doing the opposite of what you’ve preached since you’ve started out with OTF @DistStateAndMe lol. You’re now exposed. Bittensor will prevail. Covenant will not. Thats the difference.

I was super early with Nvidia $NVDA Like, super early. Due to this, I’m thinking of taking some profits and funneling into bittensor:native While I think there is still much room to run on Nvidia (B of A said it’s probably undervalued by 30%), I think bittensor:native is an easy 10x or 100x from here.

SAM’s actions were questionable lol. Praising Bittensor is the only way forward and then suddenly changing his opinion in one day because const sold 300T out of a 17000 stack (his stack, not governance) and claiming Bittensor is centralised because Const tried to stop Sam from deleting criticisms from the community directed towards his project on his own channel which isn’t very transparent to begin with. Why want to hide the red flags. Wasn’t SAM preaching decentralisation but then doing the exact opposite by controlling his channel. Governance is a problem that needs to be work upon not something you blame your rug on lol. Taking money away from investors that believed in the project and from miners that made 3, 39 and 81 possible is a crime. There are rules to follow according to the SEC and no reason should warrant an exit of this sort. SAM is claiming he’s the sole reason Bittensor had potential but billionnaires were praising it way before anybody even knew about him or his projects.. his ego got the best of him and he needs to realise trouble is coming their way and will stick to them for the rest of their lives lol.. they’re worthless now. Trust lol why would anyone want to invest in him after what he pulled lol The power of decentralisation and market fit for Bittensor is what was proven. Covenant doesn’t stand a chance on its own lol its laughable at best. Lets not forget that its Const that made Convenant possible in the first place. Everybody is talking about convenant as the bad actors here not Bittensor.. just read around

@Ivoryjeoo @TaoOutsider A company choosing to exit over governance concerns is not the same as rugging. They built, they delivered, and then they left. The market reaction is a different issue imo.

$TAO Bittensor cannot be taken down by a scammer, one subnet, or a few bad actors. Bittensor has already moved forward. We will recover. And the community will not allow him to pretend nothing happened. Wherever he shows up, we’ll be there bringing the truth to light.

Its called rugging no matter how you put it. A company rugging its investors that funded the project is a crime.. there are rules in financial systems.. if there aren’t any rules theres chaos.. learn and watch buddy. Alot of good things ahead for Bittensor it seems like but theres a subject that has had a few people feeling a bit on edge lately, to say the least.. wondering along about a potential unravelling that could, or may not, play out against Bittensor’s best interests!? I have to say though… Stakes are high when you mix an ecosystem that hasn’t quite reached maturity just yet with shorting. I mean.. this could play out 2 ways really…. Either the market reaches equillibrium by getting rid of a few bad actors judged for extracting value by gaming the system and we live happily ever after… or.. This all ends in pain with big pockets having a go at drowning the network. I mean.. Some see control as a way to enforce further manipulation. This could actually suppress innovation, if implemented incorrectly. Low liquidity subnets, perhaps exposed to unfair rulings, could face irreparable damage and the ecosystem that we once thought could become this endless flywheel of value creation ends up becoming grounds for more greed and further manipulation. My hope, and what I believe personally, is that if implement as part of the protocol theres still a chance we sort ourselves out regardless. The market allows ends up sorting itself out anyways.. right? I mean how bad could this really get? This is a project that concerns us all.
