@AmtrakNECAlerts I’m on 93 and my final destination is Washington Union Station. When I reach NYP from Grand Central, can I board any Amtrak train heading south or will you be rebooking me automatically? Will you be providing transportation or reimbursement for travel between GC and NYP?

@peacepol @WABADC Repurposing the right-of-way is a feature, not a bug. Fortunately, we have trains running underneath most of Connecticut Avenue with extra room for any displaced car commuters heading downtown

@JAlves6 @WABADC I’m a city biker who also commutes to work in a car. Isn’t the problem that there’s no space on CT Ave without eliminating 1 of the lanes of one of the central arteries for commuters and drivers?

In almost every American city, the minimum number of parking built is mandated by state and municipal ordinances dating back to the 1960s. These antiquated mandates not only rob property owners of choice, but they’re often arbitrary. It's time to end them.

@danTgrant @MLS_Buzz True, but a ticket rep told me during an open house this fall that supporters tickets went for $450 this season. +$130 (almost 30% increase) for a team currently in 10th in the east is a little ridiculous

@MLS_Buzz I agree with your point, but the Reserved Supporters sections for $580 are seated. They are next to the standing sections.

DC United's cheapest *seated* ticket for next season is $880. That would give them the 3rd most expensive "cheap" ticket IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE MLS clubs are charging prices for season tickets as if they were THE top league in the world. It's unbelievably greedy and stupid.

With the lights broken and flashing red at Logan Circle, traffic is flowing continuously at a slow speed and people can cross at the crosswalks without waiting for the signal. @DDOTDC should leave it this way
