Braves absolutely need to sign Lucas Giolito now. Spencer Strider is the latest loss, hitting the IL with an oblique. Other recent hits: (Schwellenbach, Waldrep, Wentz, Profar). And since they are owned by a public company, we know they make a huge profit.

Given how significantly 18-22 year-olds can physically and mentally develop within a few months of time, would it be better for the top 100 and Top 30 prospects lists to be produced at the end of Spring Training?

With news of Fuentes making the OD roster, a reminder if he went on to win ROY, the Braves would not receive an extra draft pick like they did with Baldwin because Fuentes does not appear on enough Top 100 prospect list. Yes, that is the rule and yes it is as dumb as it sounds

@JCDBPK @EasyToLearrn Pliers have tapered jaws, so are bad at holding nuts and good at throwing nuts into inaccessible places.
There are other tools, with parallel jaws, that are better for this.
