I am a domestic abuse survivor and a rejected Mum of two, I refuse to be defined by it. I am seeking justice in a broken system. Posts are from the heart ❤️

🚨 A lack of data — or the claim that an expert no longer practises — cannot justify a refusal to scrutinise state-sanctioned harm. I know mothers whose children were removed in 2016, 2017, 2018 — and even as recently as last year on the basis of expert reports. Multiple mothers made formal complaints. That expert is now under investigation by the HCPC. The mothers are worried that because this expert is “no longer practising”, it may not be in the public interest to pursue matters further. But where does that leave the families who lived with the consequences? These mothers were assessed by an expert with no training in coercive control, domestic abuse, child sexual abuse, trauma, or child assessment — yet her opinions were relied upon to change custody. Reports costing around £5,000 each, repeated across what may be hundreds of cases. Mothers then directed to unregulated therapies designed to “change their views” about their abusers. Children removed. Families devastated emotionally and financially. Years spent paying for contact centres, litigation, and compliance with decisions rooted in flawed expert opinion. I know mothers who lost their homes. I know children who lost their primary carer. I know families who have never recovered. I know people who did not survive what followed. I know mothers who are still closely monitored. I know mothers experiencing post separation abuse. To say it is now too late to investigate — because the expert has stopped practising — is to ignore the reality that the harm is ongoing. These families are still living with the outcomes of those decisions every single day. 📢If an expert can cause this level of damage, profit from it for years, and then quietly step away without meaningful accountability, what does that say about a system meant to protect children? 💯Public interest does not disappear when a career ends. 💯Accountability does not expire when practice stops. ⚖️ These cases demand scrutiny, review, and justice — not silence. @MoJGovUK @SheraFamily @AndhaBandar @Jessica_E_Brown @HannSummers @JudiciaryUK @DrProudman @DrJessTaylor @KemiBadenoch @The_HCPC @ChildrensComm @MelanieBridgen @MyCafcass @NACCCofficial @BBCPanorama @ITV

In 1988 we planted 25 acres of trees - this is just some of them now. A proud legacy that will long outlive me. There’s a lesson for Britain here.
