No one would see the glory of God apart from Christ on the cross. The cross was the apex of the revelation of the glory of God—the glory of his grace. "Christ crucified is therefore both the means and the end of God's purpose in the universe." @JohnPiper #SolidJoys #DesiringGod

The @CivilRights Division has had a very productive week under the leadership of @AAGDhillon: 1. On Monday, we sued Minnesota for letting boys compete against girls in youth sports. 2. On Wednesday, we sued Idaho for refusing to turn over its voter rolls to ensure only eligible citizens are registered to vote. 3. On the same day, we pushed back against DC's effort to dismiss our suit seeking to protect law-abiding gun owners' rights to keep and bear arms. 4. Today, we sued the Missouri State High School Association for adopting DEI-based quotas for its board. Stay tuned.

Just finishing up a four day trip to Washington, DC. There are So Many Patriots in this administration. Some of them whose names you know-- but a lot of whom are toiling in semi-obscurity, doing the work of the American people. There are so many people with a lot of power and influence in this admin who are totally aligned with our base voters. They don't always get their way for a million reasons (one of which is that we are trying to fix decades of failure in one administration) but they are all working incredibly hard. And among the younger staff-- it's just filled with our next generation of leaders and they totally "get it" even when the older folks--- or say, some of our geriatric Senators, do not. So the future is incredibly bright. Are there grifters? Are there incompetents? is there corruption? all unfortunately yes. You have those in any administration and you have them here. But my overwhelming feeling was every time I talked to someone new, I would find a person in our orbit who was working hard on exactly the things you'd want them to be working on. So no matter what happens, I am not blackipilling on this administration. I am not backing down. And I'm going to continue to support all of the great work the are trying to do. They won't win every battle. But in ways large and small, they are making America a far better place than it was through their hard work and determination. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I’ve been thinking this week about Brian Tingley: a Christian counselor who challenged Washington state’s viewpoint-based counseling ban in 2021. At the time, challenging a counseling ban felt like a cultural “third rail”—especially for a blue state counselor with a reputation to uphold. But Brian knew the harm that would come to families if these bans were upheld. So he sued. Tingley lost at the district court, then at the 9th Circuit. When @ADFLegal appealed to the Supreme Court, three justices favored taking Brian’s case—just one vote shy of a cert grant. Justices Thomas and Alito wrote dissents from the cert denial, noting the importance of the issue—and the fact that it wasn’t going away. They were right. Two years later, we appealed a near-identical case from Colorado: Chiles v. Salazar. This time, the Supreme Court took the case. And just this week, the Court referenced Tingley in its Chiles opinion, ruling 8-1 that Colorado’s counseling ban was an “egregious assault” on First Amendment principles. “The Constitution does not protect the right of some to speak freely; it protects the right of all.” Sometimes—oftentimes—you have to lose before you can win. And no one can predict when the win will come. It’s a matter of simply stepping out in boldness and faith to do what’s right, come what may. I’m deeply grateful to every ADF client who makes that choice—whether they walk the path of Brian Tingley or Kaley Chiles. Win or lose, they stand up. They set their comfort aside. They challenge injustice. It’s people like this who will keep America free.

I am proud to stand with @AGPamBondi and @EdSecMcMahon in this effort. My uncle, Ted Kennedy, wrote Title IX and fought for its passage in order to recognize the importance of women's sports. I'm grateful to President Trump for restoring America's commitment to female athletes.

Servicemembers’ families shouldn’t have to sacrifice their careers because of military moves. This settlement, enforced by @CivilRights, ensures military families in Georgia can use out-of-state licenses without unnecessary barriers. Other states should take note & comply with the SCRA. justice.gov/opa/pr/justice…

U.S. Department of Education
Today, ED is opening a new Title IX investigation into a NH School District. The District allegedly places the burden on girls to move out of their OWN intimate spaces when there is a male present – this is not just absurd, it is blatant discrimination against women and girls.
