@JDPinkerton @Marlowestudies really fascinated by the fact that a) Restoration theater people would attempt Faustus at all instead of writing it off as embarrassingly old-fashioned and b) they did not go all in on adding EVEN MORE shenanigans including many sexy ladies (now with women!)

It is no coincidence that Dave Grusch’s critical claims regarding the recovery of UAP technology were first published in a UAP-focused outlet rather than in the mainstream media. Moreover, leaks of classified information almost always originate in the intelligence community rather than in DoD or DoE. Although the vast majority of DoD Special Access Programs (SAP) are subject to oversight by designated members of Congress, they routinely persist for decades without a trace. Insiders know that DoD and DoE effectively maintain large numbers of tightly compartmented secrets over extended periods of time. All the more reason to support Congressional efforts to learn the truth. (2/2)

It’s good to see Ross Douthat’s support for efforts to clarify what our government knows about the origin and nature of UAPs. However, I don’t share his doubts that such a powerful secret could be kept for decades. For starters, the UAP issue has been effectively leak-proof because, at least until recently, mainstream media organizations wouldn't give UAP whistleblowers or witnesses the time of day.
