If you are a sales agronimist making herbicide tank mix recs to farmers, that use AMS for fuck sake quit saying "quart per 100 gallons" or "2.5# per 100 gallons" ask the spray rate 10gpa, and give recs in units per acre.

Saw this on our relay group on Facebook. I see big box planters in South America. Would be really cool to see some manufacturer make multi general mechanical drop planting equipment for the upcoming boom in intercropping. Or just VT / drill combos without the 70k investment in an air system. Intercropping is much more dynamic math than all the exact precision the manufacturer grapple over in our American farm industry. Making crop shapes and extending the photosynthesis through diversity focuses on the leveraged landscape instead of the perfect monocrop. I’d plant oats and soybeans in 1 pass or maybe malted spring barley. Just plant the beans a little deeper

@snowboardfarmer So why do these rigs take so much power? I mean you’re really only working about 1/2 you would with say a cultivator.

Learning to strip till last couple years has had it challenges. It’s heck of a learning curve, but yields last fall proved it was worth it. One of the major benefits is how little diesel we’ve gone thru last fall and this spring. #lynxag #striptill

Under @POTUS’ leadership, we have already taken concrete steps to address the pressure: issuing a 60-day Jones Act waiver to lower shipping costs, expanding fertilizer production across the Western Hemisphere, and cutting red tape so nitrogen reaches farmers instead of being held up by unnecessary mandates. The roundtable focused on three key priorities to deliver real, lasting relief: • Investing in American fertilizer manufacturing and strengthening domestic supply chains • Accelerating innovation to give farmers more affordable technology options • Building a comprehensive emergency plan to ensure reliable access no matter what challenges arise American farmers must not be left vulnerable to volatile global markets or unpredictable input prices.🇺🇸 More coming this week. @FoulkShay Another vote for the pioneer. Honda is pretty much indestructible. We used to run Honda three wheelers on the ranch in MT. Made me a believer. You could roll em down the hill, tip em back over, bend the handlebars straight and take right off.
