The only reason Europeans have “free” healthcare is because Americans have spent the last few decades paying for this shit

Beef…. It’s what’s for Dinner‼️ 22ounces of Ribeye, bursting with flavor…. No steak sauce needed. A baked potato on the side will make this a meal💯 Who wants to half this big chunk of meat?

@JohnCornyn @POTUS @TaxCuts ANOTHER UNEARTHED VIDEO Senator Cornyn: “How can you claim to care about the 800,000 undocumented immigrants that this program protects through work permits & deportation relief?” Undocumented? Deportation relief? Texas, it’s time to fire Cornyn on 🗓️ Tuesday, May 26th.

This #SmallBusinessWeek, I’m proud to celebrate & support the 3.5 million hardworking small businesses that call the Lone Star State home.   Last year, I worked alongside Republicans & @POTUS to enact the @TaxCuts into law. Since then, I’ve travelled across Texas visiting small businesses and one thing is clear: Texas small businesses and their employees are benefitting from the pro-growth reforms & commonsense policies included in the historic Working Families Tax Cuts Act.   Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, & I will continue to ensure they are taken care of.

My friend is a drunk, well, now he's an ex drunk. When I say a drunk, I don't mean a down and out Skid Row drunk, or even someone who is blacking out all the time. I guess I'll just say, the man enjoys his spirits. If you are talking to him at any point during the day or night, he's got at least some detectable level of alcohol in him. He is also the funniest and most fun person to be around I've ever met. Everyone knows someone who is the life of the party. The person everyone is excited to see. That's him, or well, that was him. He started having some health issues last year. Nothing too serious, but a lot of the issues were the start of something serious. It was all alcohol related. We convinced him to get some help with the drinking and he did. He's doing fantastic actually. I can't say I've ever seen him sober in the time I've known him until now. He's a totally different person, and here's where I tell you that I'm a monster. I miss my old friend. The once jovial person I knew is gone. That person didn't actually exist, it was just the alcohol. He's not funny anymore. The man had incredible wit and could say something funny about anything in a matter of seconds and everyone would crack up. The type of guy who could make you laugh at a funeral. That's gone. I think he drank as frequently as he did because without it, he is just very reserved and quiet. If a plain white t-shirt was a person, it would be him. While I'm a monster for even venting about it, I'm not a big enough monster to stop encouraging him. Maybe it's just growing pains. Just a little adjustment period. Maybe he's just familarizing himself with his new sober life. Either way, I'll still be there for him. With that said, I'm considering getting a new happy drunk friend to add into the rotation. I'm thinking maybe a jolly Brit who loves a pint or ten.
