PC Alisha Staves, 31, with 10 years in Humberside Police, took raunchy snaps: one in a station cupboard under her police fleece jacket (“Maybe Mrs Officer can give you a helping hand”) and another at home in her stab vest (“Work boobies”). She reported being stalked by an ex, but the probe into that complaint uncovered the explicit messages on her phone. Disciplinary panel ruled it a serious abuse of position and dismissed her with immediate effect. Staves says the whole thing has left her devastated and warns it discourages female officers from reporting crimes against them.
