To each their own… but the attacks on the admin and POTUS have gotten out of control.

Can we just clear this up. This idea Trump is locked into NATO by statute and Congresss is utter rubbish. If he wants to withdraw every US soldier, and close every US base in Europe tomorrow, he can do it. He doesn't need anyone's approval.

Moving the US military out of west European bases will be costly, slow and complicated. These bases are large and sophisticated. Wherever we move to has to be equally sophisticated and secure.
A good place to start is moving from Spain to Morocco, where the US used to have a SAC base. Morocco has several modern facilities, including our former bases.
Morocco is already a designated non-NATO major ally (so is Bahrain), is a member of the Abraham Accords, and is pro-western. They’re also a tolerant and beautiful country.
The US has options. If Spain, France and Italy won’t help us, we can find better places to go.

NY Dems actually went first. TX was at least mitigating the Census bureau screwup that gifted Dems 6-10 House seats and electoral votes. And if you hate that, CA has already canceled it out. No excuse for VA.

If all the Republicans who are now crying about VA redistricting had actually fought Trump's Texas mid-decade gerrymander, we wouldn't be here. Instead they criticize Dems who are now responding to the GOP efforts, while sitting silently by as TX GOP did its dirty work.

Former US Senator Bob Casey, who was narrowly defeated by Dave McCormick in 2024, will announce after November that he will challenge Senator John Fetterman in 2028. Casey says Fetterman isn't the same person.
