Take the time to understand compound interest. Start investing now, run calculators to see what happens if you invest X dollars a month at 8%, 9%, and 10% and see what it looks like in 10/20/30/40 years from now. You’ll be shocked at how much you can make over time if you start very early at 21.

NEW: NASA's Artemis II has successfully blasted off, launching toward the Moon for the first lunar voyage in 53 years. Here is what to expect next: - Mission is 10 total days. - The crew will get 5000 miles from the Moon's surface. - The crew will sleep in two four-hour periods. - On Day 2, Orion engines will accelerate the spacecraft to escape velocity and send them toward the Moon. - On Days 3-5, the crew will fine-tune the approach to the Moon. - Day 6 is when the crew flies by the Moon. They will be about 250,000 miles from the Earth. - Days 6-7, the crew will fine-tune their approach back to Earth. - On Day 10, the crew will put on their proper suits and get ready for reentry. - They will reenter Earth's atmosphere at 25,000 miles per hour. - Two parachutes will slow the capsule to 17 miles per hour. - They will splash down off the coast of San Diego, California. Will be kind of hard getting the spirit splitting for class every 20 minutes. I’m not sure how easy it will be to get through each Sunday School class that fast. I feel for teachers (my 28-year old daughter is a gospel doctrine teacher) who’ll have to wrap an entire lesson up in 25 minutes. I’m curious about the rationale for this type of schedule?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
In advance of the upcoming general conference leadership session (April 2, 2026), The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced upcoming adjustments to the Sunday class meeting schedule to support members in their efforts to be lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. The adjustments will strengthen gospel learning in homes and congregations throughout the world. Beginning September 6, 2026, the alternating weekly schedule for Sunday School and quorum or class meetings will be replaced. Under the updated schedule: • Sunday School, Relief Society, elders quorum, Young Women and Aaronic Priesthood quorum meetings will be held each week. • Sacrament meeting will continue to be 60 minutes, followed by brief transition periods. • Sunday School and quorum and class meetings will each be 25 minutes. • Primary will continue every Sunday and will be 55 minutes, held while adults and youth attend their respective classes. • Where local circumstances necessitate, units may begin with Primary and quorum and class meetings and conclude with sacrament meeting. HAPPENING NOW: More from the 2026 NDP leadership convention. A young woman wearing an oversized keffiyeh makes an impassioned speech against involvement in the Iran conflict, but is quickly rebuked and reprimanded for misgendering the chair who self-identifies as "non-binary."

Unfortunately, the most damaging people to our state, are the "exmos" (ex-mormon/ex-members). Some can leave the faith and move on with their lives like normal people, but that is not the norm. The vast majority develop a derangement syndrome with their former faith, very similar to liberals have with Trump, where these exmos literally flip their lives upside down almost over night, living every aspect of their lives 180 degrees from how they did when they were active, participating members. They become extremely woke politically to spite their former faith. If they were once Republicans, they become raging liberals. Where the used to not drink or do drugs, they begin consuming often time to ruin. They cheat on their spouses or have open marriages that not shockingly almost always fail and destroys their families. The Secret Lives or Mormon Wives show on TV is legitimately a glimpse into exmo degenerecy, and it is becoming a toxic cancer in this state.

Mormons have told me that Salt Lake City has degraded so badly that when foreign LDS members come in, the elders and etc try to keep them away from non-Mormon run areas. That's disgraceful. Take your state back. No more of this fake nice stuff.

@VoteTrevorLee @mormons_speak Incorrect. This is a shift because people have a brain and the internet, and together it creates common sense. You should spend five minutes and actually research your church’s history.

This is no coincidence. As Salt Lake County’s culture shifts away from the restored gospel and becomes more godless and secular, it’s also becoming more Democrat. The same pattern John Adams warned about: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” When faith fades, conservative values built on God, family, and freedom erode with it. Utah’s foundation is under attack.

In Salt Lake County, many wards and stakes are closing. This graphic shows the decline in members, which is requiring many wards and stakes to be closed or merged with neighboring ones.

@patrickbetdavid My dad would make all of us kids say “I like myself” ten times before we went to school…even when my friends were in the car. I hated it. But when I grew up, I realized the power he engrained in me, and I absolutely love who I am. Thanks Dad.

My Pop infused an absurd level of self belief in me. In absolutely every facet. Made me feel like I could literally do anything. When I had absolutely no business thinking I could play pro ball, he SWORE not that I could, but that I WOULD. He'd tell his friends, our family, my coaches who didnt believe it. Same with Sports Media. Swore up and down after I broke my leg playing ball and made the move, that id change things somehow in Sports Media. Hearing his absurd, sometimes unrealistic belief in me SO MANY TIMES eventually permeated my mind, and its never left me. He was right about ball. Now its time I make him right about Sports Media.
