In Vegas I noticed that they place auto tip 20% on every check then the server explains it's a group tip and that there is another space to add another tip that just goes to the individual server. Double tipping. Explains what I have seen from @VitalVegas & @LasVegasLocally

@LasVegasLocally Regardless of the reason, whereas I use to visit Vegas twice a year, I now haven't been there in about 18 months. I'd rather go to Biloxi where the odds are much better, and the prices reasonable, even at the @MGMResortsIntl owned Beau Rivage, which rivals any Vegas casino.

Vegas resorts aren't charging $26 for minibar water bottles just because of rising labor costs. Record revenues in 2024, CEOs earning $15-18 million per year, DOJ-backed price-fixing suits, and a 6.5% visitation plunge. Corporate gouging is a bigger factor in rising prices.
