@rohbo1 This was Times Square in New York City on October 8 - check out the signs. The genocide libel was pre-planned. At this stage, Israel was still chasing Hamas terrorists around the kibbutzim and had not even counted or buried its dead.

@saribashi - a major source for @NickKristof over YEARS - said in her interview with @jstreetdotorg that her organization (PCATI) and @btselem are part of the @EuroMedHR network, and you're racist if you call EuroMed a Hamas front. [Bezzele is a crummy auto-transcribing of B'Tselem] If you go through her work at Human Rights Watch and whatnot, you're gonna find EuroMed citations too. She also says that EuroMed documents rights violations by Hamas. This is very very false. She also says that Handala (which organizes the flotillas) is a highly respected organization. The auto-transcript lists Handala as Mandala.

.@SaherAlghorra_B is the 2026 RFK Book & Journalism Awards International Photo Award winner for his work for the @nytimes, "The War in Gaza." Alghorra has captured the war. But the war has also found him: Alghorra and his parents lost their homes in Gaza City. He and his family, including his parents, his sick grandmother and two of his sisters, were displaced six times. More than 200 Palestinian media workers have been killed in Gaza during the war, according to @pressfreedom. Some of them were Alghorra’s friends. He himself came close to being hit in an Israeli airstrike more than once. Our heartfelt congratulations to Saher and The New York Times. Sumud flotilla activists -- who come from Europe, the US and elsewhere -- have released a statement that Israeli authorities subjected them to abuse, sexual violence and in multiple cases, rape. This hasn't been confirmed. reuters.com/world/europe/f…

Readers offered questions and pushback about my investigation into sexual assaults against Palestinians by Israelis. So here are our answers: nytimes.com/2026/05/21/opi…

I’m seeing this video circulating these day on X. Yes, it never gets old. This is part of the interview I did in May 2025. I traveled to NYC for a pre-taped interview on MSNBC’s Weekend Primetime to discuss my Pulitzer Prize. I arrived ready to speak about my essays, my life in Gaza, and the mounting losses my wife and I had endured. However, the conversation didn’t start there. That was only the second question I was asked. The months following that interview brought even deeper grief. In August 2025, my wife lost her father in an Israeli strike. Just a month later, Israel killed my second cousin along with his wife and their four young children, aged ten, six, four, and two. Between October 2023 and May 2026, my wife and I lost over a hundred relatives. And we are still asked to humanize our murderers. And still, academic institutions and other bodies continue to penalize and condemn us simply for speaking out against these heinous crimes. Shame on you! I will not bend, I will not bow, and I will not break.

Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed. Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.
