Soph. RHP Zach Kmatz (osubeavers.com/sports/basebal…) and freshman RHP/INF Mason Pike (osubeavers.com/sports/basebal…) have signed to play for @BrewsterCaps this summer. Kmatz has allowed 16 hits, 8 ER, with 12 K, 4 BB in 10.1 IP. Pike has pitched .2 inn. and has yet to play in the field.

Just browse through social media and you will find countless of these self proclaimed #gurus with all the tech devices in their facilities that measure everything from Launch Angle to Exit Velocity to Swing Speed to some fictitious Distance the ball is supposedly traveling. These measurements mean nothing! This is baseball it’s not golf! The ball is moving and that makes all the difference in the world! Find an instructor who has at least had some degree of success as a hitter.
