@CarjetUK do not use this company. Many families today in the same position as me who had missed their pick up time and all of their money taken by Carjet and left with no car. @TheSun

@CarjetUK are crooks. They have stolen my money. Many people today in the same position as me and left with no car to begin their holidays. Awful customer service.

@greenmotiongat absolute criminals. Unable to pick up a car I have paid in full because I was 15 minutes late after the courtesy driver took 45 minutes to collect from the airport.

It would seem that code-based reading instruction is the most likely to identify phonological deficits and offer a route to remedy the deficit. The instruction may require supplemental input, reduced pace and intensive intervention but it is founded on the same principle.

Perhaps the most pertinent issue with dyslexia is not so much its early diagnosis as the perception that dyslexic readers need to learn to read in a different way to other readers and are categorically different from other children who struggle to read.
Matt Hancock@MattHancock

Today I’m calling for universal dyslexia screening in every primary school and improved teacher training for dyslexia It is an outrage that only 1 in 5 dyslexic children leave school identified & that teachers do not need training to support dyslexic children This must change

I try not to make this sort of claim often, but I think that it should probably be a requirement of every primary teacher trainee to listen to @ehanford ’s Sold a Story series. Heartbreaking and enraging, it’s a brilliantly constructed analysis. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/sol…

Really enjoyed this today. It’s so reassuring to hear the underpinning, evidence informed principles of CUSP reading. @GreenfieldsEdu @baronbedford

In England many pupils enter KS2 with much of the phonics input from KS1 still unlearned and with polysyllabic decoding most often in deficit. Year 5 pupils (9-10) made 4 times the reading progress after phonics intervention (Jennings, 2008).

@British_Airways can you give a recommended time between flights to collect baggage from T3 and then check the bags in again for a flight from T5.

@EtihadHelp I am booked on a ticket from Abu Dhabi to London landing in T3. I have then booked a BA flight from T5 to Glasgow. Is there anyway my bags can be checked through to Glasgow so I do not need to go through baggage and immigration at London.
