@NotOrionLMAO "worth the retcon" I've made my peace that some people really are just cattle who are unbelievably ignorant. No amount of deft writing will bring back the depth and gravity and meaning that was tossed to the wind because of a jumped up community manager's shitty head cannon.

The Greg Bear Forerunner trilogy of novels is amazing, and ultimately, worth the retcon. I think that the extent of us actually seeing what Forerunners actually look like should’ve been far more ambiguous.

@Whimsy_Wizard It already ended. Reach was the last Halo game. 343 has effectively been making glorified, triple A fan fiction for the last decade and a half. The only thing i would accept from 343 is total capitulation in returning to Bungies story and art style. Start over from scratch.

My hottest Halo Take: I just want it to rest. I don't want to see it shamble on endlessly through horrible necromantic arts. All good things come to an end, and Halo had it's intended end many years ago. I would say the same for many other franchises. Star wars comes to mind.

Halo Combat Evolved is getting backlash after releasing a six-hour video of the new main menu. The video shows a very detailed view of the big Halo ring floating in space. Most fans say the new graphics look too realistic and have too much detail, so the big Halo ring does not feel as huge and amazing as it did in the old game from 2001. In the old game, they used simple shapes and small details to make the ring look really big from far away.
