The matter of interpretation of Section 15, 24 and 27 of Sierra Leone 1991 Constitution was before the Supreme Court today. The matter is about inclusion, dress code and not about hijabi. It is also not meant to stop the match-past and 160th Anniversary of St Joseph’s Convent. It is between some distinguished old pupils and the Ex-Pupils Association and not the School. In the Originating Notion of Motion, the Plaintiffs argued that they are women who, by conviction, conscience, belief, upbringing and observance, dress modestly. He has forged instruments and used them to unlawfully appropriate hundreds of acres of land across Freetown. It is evident that his disciples have learned well and are now terrorising legitimate landowners with impunity. The Government should not stand by while law-abiding citizens are dispossessed of their hard-earned property through calculated fraud. On 27/11/25, we formally wrote to the Attorney-General, urging he directs the Sierra Leone Police to commence a full, independent, and thorough investigation into this criminal enterprise. Let it be clearly understood: no one’s property is safe in Sierra Leone if these syndicates are not confronted decisively. This culture of impunity must end. Those responsible - whether principals, agents, or collaborators - must be identified, prosecuted, and held fully to account. Land grabbing through forgery is not merely a civil wrong & criminal; it is a national security threat. It strikes at the heart of property rights, public confidence, etc. It must be stopped.

The same way I co-led the Renaissance Movement prior to 2018 and the then opposition SLPP fraternised with us bcos they were direct beneficiaries of our work. All over the world, opposition parties tend to align with social or political movements whose work supplement their political pursuit. If by tomorrow SLPP were to go into opposition, they will hurry to identify with the Lawyers Society without a doubt. This is how it is my friend.
