Should the Mets replace Pete Alonso by moving Brett Baty to 1B and signing Alex Bregman?

The Yankees are a storied franchise because almost every Yankee legend won a ring.
Jeter, A Rod, Ruth, Mariano, Pettite, CC, Posada, list goes on and on.
If Judge, arguably the greatest statistical Yankee of all time doesn’t win a ring with multiple MVPs and a Cy Young pitcher as his teammates, that’d be a major disappointment.
English

How many rings do Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds, Tony Gwynn, and Mike Trout have?
Dan Clark@DanClarkSports
𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: Aaron Judge will never be considered a genuine great of the game because he: (a) has never won (let alone led a team to) anything of significance. (b) continually chokes in clutch moments, in big games - both offensively and defensively. He's a regular season hero.
English

@cleansanchez123 @Bridgirl75 @DefiantLs So if someone calls the police for feeling threatened but it doesn’t meet Mandani’s criteria, that person who called and is in potential danger can fuck off?
English

@Bridgirl75 @DefiantLs That police officers shouldn’t go to all of the calls they get and only go to some of them
English

Aaron Judge goes from the best hitter on the planet to an average hitter in the big moments. That’s just a fact.
I don’t think he’s necessarily terrible, but more often than not he strikes out rather than getting a clutch hit.
If he played like he did in the regular season in the postseason, he’d have a ring. In 2024, they win it all with Judge at his best.
English

let's play a game of guess the hall of fame outfielder, postseason addition
player a: 7 games 0 HR .533 OPS
player b: 18 games 2 HR .679 OPS
player c: 33 games 1 HR .668 OPS
player d: 65 games 17 HR .822 ops
player e: 81 games, 8 HR .760 OPS
player f: 91 games 8 HR .740 OPS

"I am [an Aaron] Judge fan. ... He does not play as well on the big stage." —@MadDogUnleashed on Aaron Judge's 3 K's in the WBC Championship 😳
English

@ktbkendrick2 @SNY_Mets @SNYtv I mean, pitched to a 2.98 ERA and recorded over 200 K’s in 2023. In 2025, he was holding a sub 2.00 ERA before getting injured.
English

I live rent free in you Meat fans heads for literal days aha im watching basketball. Idc about what Ryan Weathers did today. He's also not a rookie. Nolan McLean was not ready to be the starter in the #WBC Championship for Team USA. We're off that
FrankieT@frankiet91175
Hey @Keith_McPherson is this guy ready for the bright lights 🧐
English

@BaseballQuotes1 Absolutely terrible idea. Now there will be degenerates throwing up hot dogs and cursing out Mark Vientos for striking out in front of kids.
English

@DavidBenjamin21 @M3tsFan77 @torijacobs In 2015 David Wright still put up All-Star caliber numbers, with spinal stenosis. Also got the Mets their first postseason victory in 10 years in Game 1 of the NLDS against the Dodgers.
English

@M3tsFan77 @torijacobs So you’re saying he wasn’t good enough to lead his team to the playoffs prior to his injuries. Got it
English

@Keith_McPherson Trolling at your age should be illegal, especially if you want people to take you seriously on podcasts and radio.
English

Nolan McLean started in the two Team USA losses. Joe Ryan didn't pitch. Tarik Skubal didn't pitch. Paul Skenes couldn't pitch. The question was "Is the young ROOKIE Nolan McLean ready to be thrown into these big spots?" That answer sadly is a no. He'll be fine against the Nats.
Keith McPherson@Keith_McPherson
Sadly, Nolan McLean's not ready
English

@MLBNetwork @CapitalOne For those who say the World Series is more important, that’s fine.
For those who agree, that’s fine.
No need to argue over it, some people view the hockey Olympics as more important than the Stanley Cup.
English

"I won the World Series a couple years ago... and this is the greatest moment I ever got on the mound."
- Eduardo Rodriguez on his performance in the #WorldBaseballClassic Final

English

neutral question for @Mets fans - what's your review of Nolan McLean's start tonight? The talent and stuff are obvious. The experience pitching on this big of a stage is so valuable for him. But how did he do?
