@BarstoolBigCat It was in the semis last week but still stings. 2 more yards for JT and I win but he didn’t touch the ball again after the 12:45 mark in the 4th quarter.

I know no one cares about your fantasy team but I want to see some heartbreaking finals. I’m talking half a point or less

@JasonSobelGolf Sounds like Fields took care of things. Not surprising, he’s one of the best.

This story is crazy. Not only did Rory take a heckling fan's phone, that fan is a college golfer... for the University of Texas... who'd won a tournament the previous day... and been congratulated by the likes of Scheffler and Spieth.

When hecklers get confronted, things can get uncomfortable for them in a hurry. Here's the tale of the college golfer who chirped Rory McIlroy at the Players on Tuesday golf.com/news/heckling-…

@MSTR__OOGWAY @CFBHome Wanna know a fun fact? Those 7 were their best 7! It can be both, shocking I know! Sure yeah we can do that, but I’m typically worried about top end players returning mixed with how you replaced them PSU lost Abdul (big L) but retained the rest of their impact starters

no cheating Irish trivia that came up in my research this week.... There's only two ND wide receivers that have gone over 500 yards receiving in the regular season in the past 5 years. can you name them?

The PGA Tour lied 😤 Those guys aren’t good ❌ Once upon a time I played professional golf As an am on a mini tour in the Carolinas Grew up playing the course Shot 65 there before 🔥 I proceeded to play poorly and shot a few over for 3 days Whatever The guy who won fired like 61-64-65 🏆 He tied the course record And beat my very best in hundreds of rounds there all 3 days 👀 This was a low level mini tour I was a great player then It would've taken my very best to finish in the top 10 and get my entry fee back 💯 These guys on the PGA, LIV, DP World Tour, Asian Tour, etc. - they're not "good" They're skilled beyond what most can imagine 🤯

“How is your week going so far” Pretty good, set the all time scoring record in the first round. “What did you shoot?” 57 “For 18?” Yes “Always tough to follow up a good round, how did you play today?” Solid, shot 69 “So 57-69, are you up by 5 or more?” I’m behind by 1

I love playing golf, and I make it a point to keep quiet if I don’t have something positive to say. But this decision makes no sense to me. In my 17 years playing golf, I’ve never heard one guy finish a round and complain about how far he was hitting it off the tee. If anything, most of us are trying to find a way to hit it longer. If I manage to keep my current average length, with the rollback I’ll be hitting, after a good drive , a 5 or 6 hybrid into a 400 yd par4 instead of a 7iron. How will that help me enjoy the game more? I’m not a data guy, but my sense is the rollback will negatively effect my game (I’m average length for a senior golfer) more than someone who already hits it farther and requires one or two clubs less to carry the same distance. As I see it, the game is already bifurcated. I’m not playing the golf courses the pros/elites play, in terms of length or difficulty. So a stellar 72 for me — at 6300 yds with a slope of 130 — isn’t comparable in the least with an even par round at a Tour event. I mean, what’s the bloody problem with creating a Tour ball? If Rory and his peers are hitting it too far, deal with it there. Looks like there’s plenty of money to throw at the issue. My message to those in charge of the game: Do what you need to do with the pros. But please, in the name of Bobby Jones and all things sacred in life, don’t make my golf ball fly any shorter than it already does. Doing so will quite possibly subtract a degree of enjoyment from the game I love, with absolutely no value added for me and 99% of the golfers on earth. And perish the thought, more than any run of bad holes or bad rounds, reducing my fun-factor could push me into the clutches of what I call the dark side — Pickleball.

The USGA and R&A are expected to announce early next week that they will be changing the rules to roll back distance in golf. See further details: glfdig.st/uYjf50QeExn

@jjkilleentcu @redfeathergc The fact this list doesn’t have Mira Vista CC or any of the Fort Worth Men’s City rotational courses on it tells me you need to consult the committee before posting.
