@BerkeleyEverett So frustrating... was told today that it’s “ good to introduce algorithms” in grade 3 . I’m hearing that it’s part of the new Illustrative grade 3 and I’m hoping that’s wrong.

Why is this curriculum asking kids to use the standard algorithm with decimal division in 5th grade? That isn’t a 5th grade standard??
