Virginia already has a bipartisan redistricting commission—voters approved it to end politician-drawn maps and reduce gerrymandering. This amendment temporarily hands that power back to the Democrat-led General Assembly for mid-decade changes (with a pre-approved map that could net them up to 4 seats). It 'restores fairness' only until 2030, then reverts. If the goal is truly independent processes, why bypass the one we just created? Virginians should vote NO and keep maps out of partisan hands."
