INDIAN KASHMIRI MUSLIM BLASTS PAKISTAN FOR ORCHESTRATING TERRORIST ATTACK IN PAHALGAM AT UNITED NATIONS (UN): Dear Friends, As an Indian and as a Kashmiri Muslim, I am extremely happy and proud to have just now spoken against the state of Pakistan and its orchestration of ghastly terrorist attack in India's Kashmir's Valley's Pahalgam at the ongoing 60th session of United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, Switzerland. Why was it important for an Indian Kashmiri Muslim to speak against the state of Pakistan at an international forum like the UN ? The brutal terror attack against non-Muslim tourists, including Hindus, Christians & Buddhists from different parts of India and Nepal was carried out by 3 terrorists, ALL THREE OF THEM - PAKISTANI MUSLIMS, on the soil of India's Kashmir Valley in the name of ISLAM and AZADI. The state of Pakistan and its predominantly Punjabi Muslim ruling disposition used the sacred land of India's Kashmir Valley, known as abode of Hindu Rishis & Muslim Sufis to carry out Pakistan's extreme Hindu hatred driven violent attack against the innocent non-Muslim Indian tourists on visit to India's Kashmir valley. In doing so, the state of Pakistan also tarnished the image of the Kashmiri Muslim community as a brutal, ruthless and blood thirsty people, who only know violence and nothing else. My today's speech at the 60th session of UNHRC in Geneva, Switzerland is dedicated to victims of Pehalgam carnage, which also included a Kashmiri Muslim Ponywala (horseman). The blood that Pakistani Muslim terrorists spilled on the soil of Kashmir was the blood of Hindu, Muslim, Christian & Buddhist citizens of India. The state of Pakistan claims that its heart bleeds for us Kashmiri Muslims but its action since last three decades have meant that the state of Pakistan has been responsible for so much bloodshed of Kashmiri Muslims that can't be even fathomed. Therefore, it was important that the state of Pakistan hears it straight from the mouth of an Indian Kashmiri Muslim himself. Enough is Enough. We Indian Kashmiri Muslims fully realize that the state of Pakistan never was and never will be well wishers of Kashmiri Muslims. Pakistan backed terrorist mayhem just destroyed Kashmir Valley and its delicate social fabric completely and for that, we Indian Kashmiris regardless of our religious background, will never ever forgive Pakistan. Kashmir Valley - the sacred land of Rishis & Peers will always remain part of the motherland INDIA. ANTI-SHIA MUSLIM SENTIMENT GROWS AMONG SECTION OF KASHMIRIS ! This is a photo that calls Iran's now assassinated Supreme Leader - Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei - a "KAFIR" or infidel. It is proudly shared by a Kashmiri from Srinagar, who calls himself - ABU MAHI MUDDASSIR JAMAL RAZ "SALAFI". He proudly proclaims his adherence to an extremist religious ideology that professes open hatred for not only NON MUSLIMS - Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Christians etc., but also for SHIA MUSLIMS. This Kashmiri Muslim man has a "blue tick" handle on Facebook. He furthermore writes even more toxic hatred filled text against not only the Islamic Republic of Iran but also the Shia Muslim community in general. I am sharing a photo shot of his commentary in the comment section of this post, so that my fellow Indians can see what the Kashmiri Shia Muslims have to endure at the hands of pro-Pakistan religious extremists of Kashmir Valley. He is not alone, there is a flood of anti-Shia social media accounts from Kashmir, which are spewing Shia hatred since the recent US/Israel and Iran war in the middle east has begun. BUT HOW DID KASHMIR REACH HERE ? A well expected fall out of recent geopolitical developments in the middle east has been growing extremist hatred and anger amongst a section of Kashmir's majority Muslim sect towards Kashmir's minority Shia Muslim community. Kashmir's 1.5 million Shia Muslims have long been perceived as "traitors", "pro-Indian" and "friends of Hunud (Hindu) Kuffar". Part of this perception is driven from the fact that Kashmiri Shia Muslims have largely stayed away from participating in Pakistan sponsored terrorist activities against the Union of India. While there have been few token Shia Muslim faces in separatist Hurriyat Conference, the vast majority of Kashmiri Shia Muslims have also stayed away from Pakistan sponsored separatist movement as it effectively means Kashmir joining Pakistan - a situation which every Indian Kashmiri Shia Muslim means "DEATH SENTENCE" for Shias of Kashmir, who are very well aware of the miserable plight of Shias in the so called "Islamic Republic" of Pakistan. As far as Islamic Republic of Iran is concerned, Shias of Kashmir and Kargil do share an emotional religious bond, which showed in recent donation drive organized by Shia Muslim community of Kashmir for Iran, which also irritated and enraged religious extremist section of Kashmiri's majority sect. While no one in Kashmir talks openly about it, but an expected fall out of war in the middle east has triggered an extremist religious section of Kashmiri's majority sect to propagate hate towards Shias. It is also important to add that since the abrogation of Article 370 & Article 35-A of the Constitution of India, Shia Muslim community of Kashmir has come out of centuries of mental and physical shackles of oppression and have been asserting their sectarian identity with pride in unprecedented manner, something they could not do since the fall of first and the only Shia Muslim ruler of Kashmir Valley - Yusuf Shah Chak. Recent anti-Pakistan rallies taken out openly by Shia Muslims of Kashmir in wake of anti-Shia massacre in Pakistan's national capital - Islamabad is an example of this new freedom enjoyed by Shia Muslims of Kashmir in post Article 370 abrogation period. As expected, this has rattled extremist religious sections of Kashmir's majority sect, which not only hates Shias, but it also hates Hindus, Sikhs, Christians as well as those Kashmiri Sunnis, who adhere to traditional Sufi practices. I request the concerned authorities to kindly take action against such divisive anti-Shia social media accounts, who are creating disharmony in Kashmir's society. PAKISTAN - FLOP SHOW PAKISTAN'S SO CALLED "MEDIATION" EFFORTS FAIL MISERABLY Punjabi Muslim ruling elite of Pakistan include so called "Syed" Asim Munir, the Army Chief & defacto ruler of the terrorism promoting state of Pakistan as well as Punjabi Muslim "puppet" Prime Minister of Pakistan- Shahbaz Shariff had fraudulently and falsely propagated that the state of Pakistan was "mediating" ceasefire efforts between Iran and U.S. The reality however was that, the U.S. was only using the soil of Pakistan to bilaterally hold negotiations with Iran with the state of Pakistan having no role whatsoever in negotiations. Economically bankrupt and terror supporting the nation of Pakistan had additionally propagated that Pakistan's mediation efforts were a symbol of the "diplomatic victory" of Pakistan. The state of Pakistan also claimed that its diplomat played "an important role" in the drafting ceasefire agreement offered by the U.S. to Iran. All of that fake and fraudulent narrative pushed by the state of Pakistan came crumbling down yesterday evening, when the Islamic Republic of Iran point blank rejected the so-called "Pakistan negotiated" terms of ceasefire agreement. This is a personal humiliation for Pakistan's anti-Shia Army Chief and head of the deep state of Pakistan - "the Establishment". HUMILIATION FOR ASIM MUNIR IN PAKISTAN OCCUPIED KASHMIR (PoK) Shia Muslims of Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan (PoGB) boycott "Pakistan Day" rally organized as a mark of protest against Pakistani Army Chief - Asim Munir's threat to Shia religious scholars to leave Pakistan and go to Iran. The state of Pakistan observes "Pakistan Day" every year on 23rd March to mark the adoption of the first constitution of Pakistan. This video is from Shina speaking Astore region of PoGB, where literally NO ONE turned up in a government sponsored rally on "Pakistan Day". The local Shina speaking Shia Muslim community of Astore completely boycotted "Pakistan Day" rally in response of massive anger at recent murder of Shina and Balti speaking Shia Muslim men and boys in Islamabad Imambargah suicide attack as well as Pakistani Army and Pakistani Paramilitary forces shooting in Skardu and Gilgit towns in which over 50 Shia Muslima were killed. And then came Pakistani Army Chief's threats to Shia religious scholars gathered at Pakistan government organised Iftar dinner, where Asim Munir asked Shia religious scholars to go to Iran. SHIAS OF PAKISTAN OCCUPIED KASHMIR (PoK) PROTEST PAKISTAN ARMY CHIEF - ASIM MUNIR's ANTI SHIA REMARKS Coming on the heels of Shia massacre in Gilgit and Skardu towns of Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan (PoGB) in which nearly 30 Shia Muslim men and boys were gunned down by the Pakistani Army and Pakistani Paramilitary forces, even as the Shia protesters were protesting the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader - Ayatollah Khamenei , came a rude shock to 4 crore Shia Muslim community of Pakistan, when its Army Chief - Syed Asim Munir insulted and humiliated Shia Muslim Ulemas (religious scholars) in Iftar gathering. He angrily told them to leave Pakistan and go to Iran, if they like Iran so much. Rude comments made by Asim Munir and humiliation of Shia Muslim Ulemas enraged the Shia Muslim community of Pakistan and had an angry response in PoGB as well. PoGB is a Shia and Ismaili majority region. In speeches made at anti-Asim Muir rally in PoGB, speakers cursed Asim Munir. " O Army Chief (of Pakistan), you have humiliated our Shia Muslim Ulemas (religious scholars) and you will have to pay the price of doing so. 2. NO ONE KILLED KASHMIRI HINDUS OF NADIMARG ! Tweet Part-2, It is tragic that this section of Kashmir's majority community refuses to introspect and own up its follies and mistakes. My father’s generation of Kashmiris are especially to be blamed. They have successfully passed on their own radical religious toxic'ism to the next generation of Kashmir's majority community. This extreme poisonous Hinduphobia is however unsustainable. If this section of Kashmir's majority community does not change its mindset, the price of this will be paid by future generations of Kashmiris for eternity.

NO ONE KILLED KASHMIRI HINDUS OF NADIMARG ! Tweet Part-1, Yesterday marked 23rd anniversary of NADIMARG Kashmiri Hindu massacre in which terrorists of Pakistani Punjab province headquartered Lashkar-e-Taiba (Allah's Army of Righteous) killed 24 innocent Kashmiri Hindus including 11 men, 11 women and 2 little children in 2003. It is unfortunate that not many people from Kashmir's majority community shared any condolence message or showed any empathy towards the unfortunate Hindu minority of Kashmir Valley who were thrown out of Kashmir valley by Pakistan backed terrorists in 1990. It is both tragic and unfortunate that there is a general lack of genuine empathy towards Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir. It is a shame that in 3 decades of Pakistan sponsored separatist terrorism in India's Kashmir Valley, there has hardly been even a SINGLE RALLY taken out to show empathy and solidarity with Kashmiri Hindus, who are genetically related to Kashmiri Muslims carrying the same blood unlike distant Muslim communities like Palestinians who only share religious similarity with Kashmir's majority community. And yet for Kashmir's majority community BLOOD HAS NEVER BEEN THICKER THAN WATER. When the NADIMARG MASSACRE occurred, those who were blinded by the lies and deceit of Pakistani agencies and their proxies in Kashmir—such as the Hurriyat Conference and other radical, extremist, and terrorist organizations like Hizbul Mujahideen—and those consumed by communal hatred, chose to distort the truth. Instead of holding the terrorists of Lashkar-e-Toiba accountable, they propagated the false narrative that it was a “false flag operation” orchestrated by government agencies to malign Kashmir’s Muslim community and to stigmatize the so-called “freedom movement.” NADIMARG MASSACRE was carried out by ZIA MUSTAFA an ethnic Pahari Muslim from Rawalakot in Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). He belonged to the family of Hill Rajput Muslims, whose ancestors were Hindu Rajputs from the Hills of Jammu region to Islam centuries ago. Yet, in Kashmir Valley, most did not blame ZIA MUSTAFA or Lashkar-e-Toiba or Pakistan for the massacre of Kashmiri Hindus. For this section of Kashmir's majority community, every killing of Hindus and Sikhs (including those of Chattisinghpora) were "false flags" carried by government agencies. For them there was hardly any remorse for Hindu victims and no empathy for them whatsoever. The fact that the youngest victim of NADIMARG MASSACRE was a 2 year old boy also did not shake their conscience. This apathy on the part of the large section of the majority community of Kashmir valley towards immense pain and sufferings of Kashmiri Hindus was an extension of the propaganda my father’s generation invented in 1990s to coverup their own sins in facilitating forced and violent exodus of Kashmiri Hindu community in 1990, wherein they invented "JAGMOHAN CONSPIRACY" to blame a Non Muslim administrative Governor for "encouraging" Kashmiri Hindus to "migrate" to Jammu and other parts of India. My forefathers generation of Kashmiris did this to hide their own role in, directly or indirectly facilitating the forced exodus of Kashmiri Hindus. This is the lie that they passed on to the next generation of Kashmiris. HAS ANYTHING CHANGED TODAY ? No, nothing. A large section of the younger generation of Kashmir's majority community continues to feel remorseless for any killings of Hindus or non-Muslims in Kashmir Valley or Jammu region. In the aftermath of Pahalgam killings of innocent Hindu & Christian tourists from mainland India, many people in Kashmir labelled it as "false flag operation" and blamed it on present Government of India, which according to them, orchestrated this to "win" upcoming Bihar assembly elections. They did not blame it on Pakistani terrorists of Lashkar-e-Toiba who gunned down innocent civilians after asking them to recite Islamic "Kalma" to identify their religious identity. 1/2...

MESSAGE TO ANTI-SHIA, PAKISTANI ARMY CHIEF - ASIM MUNIR FROM KASHMIR ! I am Javed Ahmad Beigh. I am a proud Indian Kashmiri Shia Muslim from India's Kashmir Valley and I take extremely strong objection to Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir passing hateful sectarian anti-Shia comments on Pakistani Shia religious scholars at an Iftar gathering in Pakistan's national capital - Islamabad. Pakistani Army Chief, who is an ethnic Pakistani Punjabi Muslim from supposedly "Syed" caste passed highly objectionable comments on Shia Muslim community in general and Pakistani Shia Muslim religious scholars in particular, when he angrily asked them to "go to Iran, if they like that country so much". Asim Munir's anti-Shia outbursts are typical of the anti-Shia mindset of the vast majority of Pakistanis, who hate Shias and harbor an intense sectarian hatred for minority sects of Islam including Shias, Ismailis and Noorbakshias. Several Pakistani Shia Muslim religious scholars have condemned Shia phobic statements made by Pakistani Army Chief - Asim Munir including Syed Javed Nadvi and Maulana Hasnain Abbas Gardezi. According to media reports, Asim Munir spoke with a highly intimidating tone with Shia Muslim Ulemas who had gathered for Iftar. He belittled and threatened them and accused them of being more loyal to the Islamic Republic of Iran rather than Pakistan. Shia Muslims of Pakistan, who number nearly 4 core and constitute around 20% of total Muslim population of Pakistan are paying price of the follies of Gujarati Shia Muslim - Mohammad Ali Jinnah, who created Pakistan and gave a death sentence to future generations of Shia Muslims of Pakistan by bestowing upon them a cursed life of humiliation, discrimination dehumanization, death and violence. Thankfully, we, 1.5 million strong ethnic Koshur speaking Indian Kashmiri Shia Muslims are very well aware of the miserable and pathetic conditions of Shia Muslim community in Pakistan who are enduring a systemic genocide in the so called "Islamic" republic of Pakistan, where according to estimates nearly 80,000 Shia Muslims have been killed in thousands of incidences of individual violence, targetting killings and massacres by Sunni Muslim extremist organizations like SIPAH-E-SAHABA and LASHKAR-E-JHANGVI based in Pakistan's Punjab province, even as the state of Pakistan turned a deliberate blind eye. Whether it is Pashtun tribal Shias of Parachinar of Kurram Agency in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhawa or Hazara Shias of Balochistan or ethnic Shina and Balti speaking Shia Muslims of Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan, the Shia Muslim community of Pakistan continues to suffer and pay the price for the mistake of Mohammad Ali Jinnah. NAWROZ & EID-UL-FITR MUBARAK TO EVERY ONE ! Dear Friends, Today marks a unique day, when both NAWROZ and EID-UL-FITR have fallen on the same day. NAWROZ is especially important for the SHIA MUSLIM community including those of Kashmir Valley and Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan. For 1.5 million Shia Muslim community of India's Kashmir Valley, the festival of NAWROZ connects Kashmiri Shia Muslims with Kashmiri Hindu Pandit community, which two days back celebrated NAVREH, a festival, which is essentially a sister festival of NAWROZ. NAWROZ is an ancient Vedic tradition that originated in ancient Iran (PERSIA) to mark the PERSIAN NEW YEAR (different from Islamic New Year). It is the unique tradition of "HAFT SEEN" also known as "THAL BHARUN" amongst Kashmiri Hindu Pandits of India's Kashmir Valley, which connects Kashmiri Hindu Pandit community with PERSIAN'S. This tradition of "HAFT SEEN" and "THAL BHARUN " is part of PERSIAN NAWROZ, PARSI NAVROZ & KASHMIRI HINDU NAVREH. "HAFT SEEN" is an ancient Persian tradition of marking the new year by decorating a table with 7 (Seven) items that symbolize various themes. "HAFT" is an ancient Persian (Avestan) word for 7 (seven), which is related to the ancient Vedic Sanskrit word "SAPT", also meaning 7 (seven). The alphabet "H" of Persian Avestan language would become "S" of Vedic Sanskrit and therefore Persian "HAFT" would become Vedic Sanskrit "SAPT". Ancient PERSIA followed Zoroastrian (PARSI) religion and the tradition of "HAFT SEEN" constituted an important part of Zoroastrian/Parsi culture. This tradition later passed to Muslims of Iran, who first converted to Sunni Islam and later embraced Shia Islam. The tradition was also carried on by the Kashmir Hindu community, which also traces its origin to ancient Zoroastrian Persian with slight differences. Amongst Kashmiri Hindus, the items of "HAFT SEEN" were not placed on a table but put in a platter, called "THAL" in Koshur Kashmiri language. The tradition of filling "THAL" with symbolic items by Kashmiri Hindus came to be known as "THAL BHARUN". What are these items of "HAFT SEEN" and "THAL BHARUN" ? The seven items all starting with the letter "S" have varied from time to time amongst ancient Zoroastrian Persians, ancient Iranian Shia Muslims and Kashmiri Hindus. Some of these typical items many of which are common to Zoroastrian/Parsi, Iranian Shia Muslims and Kashmiri Hindus are as follows: 1. "Sabzeh" like Wheat, Barley, Lentil sprouts etc., symbolizing rebirth & growth; 2. NAVREH MUBARAK TO KASHMIRI HINDU PANDIT COMMUNITY: Tweet Part-2, CONNECTION BETWEEN IRANIAN NAWROZ & KASHMIRI HINDU NAVREH: The tradition that links Kashmiri Hindu NAVREH with IRANIAN NAWROZ is the common ritualistic practice of observing "THAL BHARUN" & "HAFT SEEN" as part of the beginning of NEW YEAR celebrations. This tradition of "HAFT SEEN" and "THAL BHARUN " is part of PERSIAN/IRANIAN NAWROZ, PARSI NAVROZ (called JAMSHEDI NAVROZ) & KASHMIRI HINDU NAVREH. "HAFT SEEN" is an ancient Persian tradition of marking the new year by decorating a table with 7 (Seven) items that symbolize various themes. CONTINUING SHIA MASSACRE IN PoK ! This is a fresh grave of young ethnic Balti Shia Muslim man - ZAWAR ABBAS ALI KHARMANGI in Skardu, the largest city of Baltistan region of Pakistan Occupied Gilgit & Baltistan (PoGB), which is part of PoK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir). Zawar Abbas was grievously injured in an anti-Shia suicide bombing few weeks back in a Shia Imambargah in Pakistan's national capital - Islamabad. Nearly 100 Shia Muslims were killed in that massacre, a large number of them were Shia Muslims from PoGB, who were studying or working in Pakistan's national capital. Zawar Abbas was seriously injured in the suicide attack and was fighting for his life in a government hospital in Islamabad for weeks. (The state of Pakistan did not agree to bear expenses of injured Shia Muslims of Islamabad anti-Shia terror attack in private hospitals of Islamabad, Lahore & Rawalpindi). After bravely fighting for his life in a poorly equipped government hospital of Islamabad, Zawar Abbas finally seccumbed to his injuries two days back. His body was brought back from Islamabad to his home town Skardu, where he was buried amidst sorrow and anger against the state of Pakistan, where anti-Shia violence has ruined lives of over 100 Shia Muslims of PoGB in various incidences of violence a Shias in Islamabad, Gilgit and Skardu towns of PoGB. The family of Zawar Abbas has alleged that despite their pleas that their son be shifted to a private hospital in Islamabad or Lahore and Rawalpindi, the federal government of Pakistan and the state government of Punjab province did not do so. "SONTH" & "THAL BHARUN" MUBARAK" TO ALL KASHUR PEOPLE ! An ancient Iranian Zoroastrian (Parsi) festival of celebration of the arrival of spring season that continues to be celebrated by ethnic Kashur speaking Kashmiri Hindus in a similar manner as Zoroastrian Parsis and Iranian Shia Muslims. "SONTH" is an age old festival of celebration of the arrival of spring season in India's Kashmir Valley. Sonth is celebrated on the last Sankranti of the year. After bone biting cold of "Chillia Kalan" in Kashmir Valley, Kashur people enjoy the spring season in a unique way that has roots in ancient pre-Islamic IRAN, when it was known as PERSIA and was ruled by Iranian Zoroastrians (Avestans) whose religious culture was close to Rig Vedic Aryans. Kashmir's ancient "SONTH" festival is remnant of this historical ties of pre-Islamic KASHMIR with pre-Islamic IRAN. The highlight of the celebration of the festival of SONTH by Kashmiri Hindus is a tradition of "THAAL BHARUN" or filling the platter, which is exactly similar as Zoroastrian/ Iranian tradition of "HAFT SEEN", wherein seven or more items symbolic of virtues are placed in a platter (Thali) or table. It is important to note that despite the advent of first, the SUNNI sect of ISLAM and later, the SHIA Sect of ISLAM in present day Iran, the Iranian Muslims including its Supreme Leaders and Shia Muslim clergy of Iran never abandoned the tradition of "HAFT SEEN" despite dictates from religious radical preachers (mostly Arab Muslims), who declared the practice of "HAFT SEEN" as " UN-ISLAMIC". So, how do Kashmiri Hindus organize THAAL BARUN & celebrate the festival of SONTH ? On the night prior to Sonth, an elderly lady of the Kashmiri Hindu household fills a big thali with rice. On this rice filled thali, various items like walnuts (in odd numbers usually five or seven), paddy (as per family reeth), a piece of bread (usually Kulcha), a lump of cooked rice, a pen, an inkpot, a bowl filled with curds, a currency note or a coin, a pinch of salt, seasonal flowers (usually Yamberzal), a piece of medicinal herb called Wye and a mirror are arranged. This ritual is known as Thal-barun. Early in the morning of Sonth well before sunrise, a younger member of the family makes everyone have a darshan of this thali in their respective rooms. This ritual is known as Buth-Vuchun. Tahar (rice cooked with turmeric, salt and oil) is prepared from the rice kept in the Sonth thali and everyone eats it after offering it to God by reciting Prepyun mantras. People greet each other by saying Sonth Poshte or Sonth Mubarak. Some families would visit Badam Vari - the orchard of almonds situated at the foothills of Hari Parbat. PAKISTAN STATE CRACKDOWN ON SHIA & ISMAILI LEADERS Of PoK ! "Accused of being Indian Agents, top Shia & Ismaili leaders of PoK are arrested under Anti-Terrorism Act by state of Pakistan & tortured in jail" Immediately after anti-Shia massacre in SKARDU & GILGIT towns of Pakistan Occupied Gilgit and Baltistan (PoGB) by Pakistani Army and Pakistani Paramilitary soldiers in which nearly 3 dozen (mostly teenage) Shia Muslim men and boys were gunned down, the state of Pakistan has initiated a brutal crackdown on civil society leadership of PoGB by arresting top Shia & Ismaili leaders of Awami Action Committee Gilgit-Baltistan (AAC-GB) including its 70 year old Chairman - EHSAN ALI ADVOCATE. Massacre of Shia Muslim boys and men in Skardu and Gilgit towns by Pakistani Army and Pakistani Paramilitary forces took place as Shia community in Gilgit and Baltistan subregions undertook a peaceful protest march against assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader - Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei. AAC-GB is a conglomeration of various social, religious and political organizations of PoGB, which is part of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir or PoK. False and fraudulent cases have been registered by the state of Pakistan against a total of 13 leaders of AAC-GB under the draconian Anti-Terrorism Act, while 5 leaders including the chairman of the committee and renowned lawyer - Ehsan Ali Advocate have been arrested. According to local media Ehsan Ali Advocate, was arrested by the local police of PoGB upon the orders of Islamabad on the evening of March 10 during a raid at his house. In addition other leaders of AAC-GB including Nafees Advocate, Nusrat Hussain, Engineer Mehboob Wali and Mehr Ali were also arrested yesterday and shifted to different police stations. According to the police, other named persons including Zarif Abbas Advocate, Fida Isar, Masood-ur-Rehman, Waheed Hassan, Asghar Shah, Sahib Khan, Engineer Nadeem and Manzar Maya have not been arrested yet, while raids are underway at various places to arrest them. According to the FIR filed by the local police of PoGB, the leaders of the AAC-GB are accused of being "Indian Agents" working for India's RAW agency. The leaders of AAC-GB are also accused of making "inflammatory" speeches against the state of Pakistan and Pakistan's Army during an iftar party in Skardu, Gilgit. According to the FIR, these speeches by leaders of AAC-GB took the stance that the Pakistani establishment wanted to seize the natural resources of Gilgit-Baltistan and an attempt was made to incite the people to launch a protest movement against it. The local police of PoGB have registered cases against the leaders of AAC-GB under sections 506 and 153-A of the Pakistan Penal Code in addition to the Anti-Terrorism Act. There is intense anger and resentment in the public and political circles of PoGB against the arrests of the leaders of AAC-GB. Various socio-political figures have condemned this action as revenge against peaceful political workers of PoGB and those who raised their voices for public rights.
