I'm not sure that this was the best position for this officer to be in to try and stop this guy on the bike. To my law enforcement followers or anyone else that might know, how should this be handled?

As a former cop, this raises serious concerns for me. There are good cops—but history shows some will follow orders simply to protect their career. If VASP is ready to arrest people over a 30-round magazine, it’s not a stretch to believe they’d enforce confiscation orders too.
