Cornyn is nothing like Tillis or Cassidy. He’ll probably lose tomorrow but if he wins, it’ll be because he’s handled himself much better than any other primaried senator or Congressman. I personally never understood the hate he gets. That said, no one is entitled to a seat so it’s not like Paxton was breaking the law by running in a primary. And “nice guy” Hunt ran in the primary too! Massie had to go. Cassidy was way out of step with his state. But if Cornyn does win, it’s just a couple of Senate votes difference between him and Paxton over this coming term.

@bunny_locke @chriswithans More importantly - I don’t vote for spouse issues. I vote for political issues. A “nice guy” who sides with big government DEMONcrats on any substantive issue could never represent my views.

I heard @EWErickson saying people like this deserved what they got and it was horrible to compensate them. I believe that every “civil servant” who participates in political retribution should have THEIR lives ruined just like this poor guy… Because the government trampling on civil rights is a million times worse than “treaspassing” on public property
Pat Stedman | Dating & Relationship Coach for Men@Pat_Stedman

On January 6th I followed the crowd into the Capitol and shouted. Police stood by the whole time, hanging out with us and sometimes directing us places. At one point near the House Chambers I was walking downstairs when a trio of some special section, secret service looking men started pointing guns in my direction. Confused and annoyed, I walked the other way and when I saw a normal police officer asked him why they were doing that. He informed me a protestor (Ashli Babbit) had been killed, and advised me to leave the building. I walked towards the exit and after a short rest on the bench I left. I harmed nobody and damaged no property that day and complied with all police orders. What I received for that was a pre-dawn raid at my parents house, where my 1 month post-partum wife and I were staying, on Biden's first day in office. His DOJ had signed the order to arrest me 3 hours after his inauguration. In the subsequent weeks I received death threats online and harassing phone calls, something that would be ongoing for the next few years. I was banned from Meta and Paypal. My wife and I were both debanked by PNC and banned from Airbnb. My wife was detained at the airport for hours with our newborn daughter. I was charged with 4 misdemeanors and the 1512 unconstitutional felony. The government offered to drop the misdemeanors if I pled to the felony. The felony was a lie, so I refused and went to trial. At trial the prosecution for 2 days straight was allowed to show footage to the jury of things that occurred around the Capitol I wasn't present for "for context." When we asked to put forward footage that contradicted the prosecution's "context" we were not allowed. They could show what they wanted, we could not. Police officers were then put on the stand for the next 2 days who cried about their experiences. I had no idea who they were. They admitted they never saw me or interacted with me. Nevertheless like every other J6er, I lost, and was sentenced to 4 years and $22k in fines and restitution. Yet even after the Supreme Court overturned the felony, the judge would not let me out until my misdemeanor sentences of a year were maxed out. Because she can't count she actually kept me in longer - to the extent she intervened at the last minute to make the prison release me on a Sunday, something that is against BOP rules. My family sat outside the prison gates the Friday before practically the whole day waiting in vain because of this pettiness. But the government wasn't satisfied with their pound of flesh: after my release they took me back in for resentencing, to attempt to have me resentenced after the fact to my misdemeanors consecutively, so I'd be taken from my family again and have another 1.5 years behind bars. This time I won, as they had no legal precedent and it skirted on violating double jeopardy since I had served my full prison time. Even still, it cast a cloud over the holidays and cost me another 20k my family couldn't afford. People ask whether prison was bad, and yeah of course prison sucked. It was a hard and violent place. I was present for a stabbing, and was lucky to avoid two fights and a race war. But dealing with Biden's DOJ and the DC Judiciary was the real trauma - they would grind down your spirit by weaponizing the legal system and use the endless procedure to bankrupt you. I had nightmares for months after release that I had somehow been hit with new charges. By the time I was pardoned by President Trump, I had spent literally every single day of Biden's presidency either in prison or under some form of supervision. I had incurred over $300k in legal fees and over $1 million in lost business. It was a reign of terror, and yet it was a mere foreshadowing of what they had planned for anyone else who opposed them under Kamala. The country should never forget it.

The bigger question is: “WHAT reason is there to trust IRAN about ANY subject under ANY circumstance?” “Negotiating” with a fragmented and dysfunctional quasi-regime would be impossible and useless EVEN IF their representatives zeal did not include promises of “72 virgins” in paradise for lies and obfuscations to the infidels.

Now Iran says it wants to talk again. Maybe they finally realize Trump is done playing games over the Strait of Hormuz and nuclear threats. “I think that we are making progress,” JD Vance said, but the real question is this: does anyone actually trust Iran this time? Link in comments

Here’s the deal: Abigail Spanberger, Don Scott, Louise Lucas and all their friends knowingly violated the Virginia Constitution. They purposefully violated clear constitutional procedures to deceive voters, capping off their master deception with ballot language meant to confuse everyone. They strongly argued for the VA Supreme Court to “wait” until after the referendum so their flood of money from national democrats could fund their brazen dishonesty and trick voters to “restore fairness”, and then claim “the will of the people” when the VA Supreme Court would undoubtedly strike down their unconstitutional attempt to disenfranchise millions of Virginians. It’s a disgusting disregard for Virginians, the Constitution and a flagrant violation of their oath of office.

To the rest of the world, rhetoric like this just proves that morality in the US is entirely transactional. We see this constantly under the current presidency. The only actual metric of value is money. Entire groups of people are demonized simply because they do not fit a very narrow definition of humanity. The irony is how completely devoid of humanity the officials pushing these narratives actually are.

This is Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and United States Homeland Security Advisor: “We’re going to see the first-ever effort in American history to reclaim the ultimately trillions of dollars that were stolen from taxpayers by the Democratic Party.” Detained illegal aliens set to be deported confirmed that they are on Medicaid. “What we’ve found since Donald Trump came into office is that the Democrats have set up a system to funnel hundreds of billions — and ultimately trillions — of dollars to migrants in our country, often from places like Somalia. For example, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement recently asked a group of illegal immigrants in detention whether they were receiving Medicaid. Half of them raised their hands and volunteered that they were on Medicaid — and these aren’t the ones who are hiding it. We’ve seen this over and over again.” The Democratic Party’s ultimate goal is to overthrow the constitutional republic of the United States.

Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements. Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service. JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes. The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%. For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%. Warren said no. She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024. Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year. Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug. 510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December. 14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight. And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms. Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back. 40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market. And the math ain’t mathing. Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%. That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.” So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money? Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years. Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do. Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.” A win. 14,000 people are reading termination letters tonight. And she’s taking credit. This is socialism in 2026. A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company. She saved you a billion on imaginary paper. She cost you ten times that in real life. She didn’t protect consumers from anything. 14,000+ will go from working to welfare. She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed. Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything. She called it a win. I hope you enjoy winning.

BREAKING NEWS: President Trump tells Axios the U.S. has REJECTED Iran’s offer — and the U.S. Navy Blockade will REMAIN in FULL EFFECT until the regime agrees to America’s demands on its nuclear program. POTUS told Axios: “The blockade is somewhat more effective than the bombing. They are choking like a stuffed pig. And it is going to be worse for them. They can't have a nuclear weapon.” “They want to settle. They don't want me to keep the blockade. I don't want to [lift the blockade], because I don't want them to have a nuclear weapon.”

The remarkable thing about this is - the Demoncrats were WAY out of touch with America’s foundation 40 years ago - they LOVED the USSR and boasted about “literacy rates” in Cuba. They haven’t been FREEDOM FIRST since Kennedy.

So… “he kind of had it coming…” eh? “If SHE wasn’t dressed like that…”. Eh? Serious question: WHY the deflection? If the right is the problem - let’s have a list of left wingers who are getting assasination attempts at the behest of the news media? Or Senators? Leftists define “hate speech” as speech that causes them to hate the speaker.
Jon Favreau@jonfavs

Sincere question: do Trump supporters who genuinely want to reduce political violence actually think that lobbing transparently hypocritical accusations about the left's rhetoric is in any way effective? Are we really gonna go through another cycle where MAGA folks point out incendiary rhetoric on the left without ever acknowledging that some of the most violent and incendiary rhetoric in America comes from the President and his supporters? Do you not think the rest of the country has eyes and ears? It's truly awful that President Trump has been the target of political violence. It's also truly awful how he's frequently talked about his political opponents: accusing them of treason, amplifying calls for their execution, publicly celebrating their death, calling them scum, garbage, vermin, animals. It was like 3 weeks ago that he threatened the annihilation of an entire civilization! It was just a few months ago that he and his White House knowingly smeared two Americans who'd been killed by federal agents as domestic terrorists! I hate political violence. I hate what happened last night. Probably 99% of Americans agree. But let's not insult everyone's intelligence by pretending that the most powerful person in the world isn't a huge part of the problem here.
